Weather Macro

Trying to have a Macro with all three conditions posted with one click (DMG 109): D20 Temperature 1-14 Normal Temperature 15-17 1d4 x 10 degrees colder than normal 18-20 1d4 x 10 degrees hotter than normal D20 Wind 1-12 No Wind 13-17 Light Wind 18-20 Strong Wind D20 Precipitation 1-12 No Precipitation 13-17 Light Precipitation 18-20 Heavy Precipitation The Temperature might be a bit tricky with extra nesting and maybe defining "normal" with a month dropdown.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The Aaron 's  Recursive Tables would be ideal for this as they will calculate values rolled within a table. So far as the "norm" for the month, you can create a table for each month/season; select the month as part of the initial roll.
So, wouldnt you create three rollable tables, lets call them temp wind and rain, and make the temperature one have results that were 1-14 normal, 15 a bit hotter, 16 a lot hotter 17 way more hotter 18 a bit colder 19 a lot colder 20 super way colder, and then have a macro that was: To day it is t(temp), with t(wind) and t(rain) ??  Sorry I am not too familiar with the use of table rolls.

So, the macro I created looks like this. I used the tables Weather, Weather1, Weather2. Weather - had wind , nothing, nothing, Weather1 - Precipitation, nothing, nothing, Weather2 -  Temperature,   nothing, nothing. I also bumped up wind, temperature, and precipitation to 2 weight. For Temperature, my table looks as such: Each is weighted at 4 with Normal at 68.  Now I'm trying to have the Macro populate the three Tables into one sentence.  
It's getting there, but having an issue with the temperature stating the entire phrase. Any ideas?
You could use "thirty Degrees hotter" rather than "30 Degrees hotter"
I believe there is a percentage system with tables for their weight. Go down the list of what you'd like to have appear most often to least often. This would completely remove the use of dice. I'll check on it tomorrow.

I made my weather reports using The Aaron's Recursive Table script (requires API): I set up my weather description table (has about 30 things in it, weighted so the more extraordinary effects are less frequent): I set up a couple of tables for the high and low temperature ranges based on seasonal temps. In doing so I included the tables for the temps and wind in the weather description (see above). I then made a weather macro to call the weather report using Recursive Tables (using 5e shaped sheet): !rt /w gm &{template:5e-shaped} {{title=Weather Report}} {{text=[[1t[AutumnWeatherTemperate]]]}} I ended up with this in chat: The high and low temps are randomly generated from the high & low rollable tables set up earlier, as is the wind speed. Still fine-tuning things, such as having a different table for higher wind speeds during storms, etc. but I hope this gives you some ideas.
Very helpful, everyone! I have been trying to come up with a way to implement a weather chart into my own game. I was going to make my own posting asking for help but then I stumbled over this threat. Reading over all the content provided by everyone really opened my eyes and game me the insight and ideas I needed. Thanks!
