Hey there, I'm nick and im 27 and have been DMing in DnD through various editions for about 5 years. I would be super interested in playing, I have one question tho, what sources are we allowed to draw characters from? Can we use UA material? Any of the books? Or just CoS and the PHB?

I can semi-reliably do any day that isn't Thursday given enough forewarning. Obviously I'd want to look into classes and see what kind of flavors I can add via my rolled stats but historically those are the characters I find the most fun to play - one that is growing in the setting to be heroic, inquisitive, and virtuous. Maybe a paladin, ranger, or spellsword kind of class.

Name Andy Age 29 Timezone EST DnD Experience 10+ years of 3/3.5/Pathfinder, about a  year of 5e Possible character concept A Lightfoot Halfling Warlock sworn to a Great Old One who must place three stones atop each other whenever he is able, must sacrifice an animal to his patron daily(this can be ze bad guys) and must draw arcane sigils with the blood of his enemies every time he has killed. Hes also batshit. A Centaur Paladin who defends the weak of the world as best as shes able. Shes also very self righteous and generally thinks shes knows best for the little ones shes guarding. A Variant Human Crossbow Expert Paladin Vampire Hunter who uses his ridiculous skills with a crossbow to stake the bloodsucking bastards at range! Hes become world weary and jaded, his master fell to the Vampires but his righteousness continues to burn brightly! A Half Elven Bard with the voice of an angel, the dancing skill of the greatest masters and a consummate swordsman! Hes a skirt chaser and a drunkard but he does sing damn well.

A neutral good dwarf who abides only by the law of Moradin, dismissing the law of the land, for the most part. Thomas comes from a long line of brewmasters and is the current heir to “Flamefist Brewery” creators of the famous “Flaming Fist Ale”. Sadly, due to the introduction of the new “Bugmans Brew” ale that has been released, Flamefist Brewery is going under. Thomas has set out to explore this vast world in order to find the greatest secret ale ingredients known to dwarfkind. Thus, he’s joined up with a party of adventurers. They should know enough about adventuring to keep him safe, he knows that he couldn’t do it without these guys.

Name: Christian Age: 27 from Finland Timezone: EET DnD Experience:  Absolutely new beginner player here. Possible character concept: Gor deik Vaarmast, Hill Dwarf Gunslinger. Member of a mercenary guild, a guild who supplies bodies and armaments to all conflicts and contracts to the people willing to play the coin. Recently engaged into a contract involving hunting some deserters, Gordeik with hes previous companions discovered the targets had run into a hungry dragon and decided the job is done and with the group dispersing, sending word of the development to the guild master, Gordeik with hes mount and gear decided to hang around the area for a while and wait for new orders or possible new contract from the guild or find a free lancer job. Name: Steven Age: 24 Timezone: Central DnD Experience: Dm'd for a few years, then decided to try to get into games as a player and have been failing ever since. Possible character concept: The main one is warlock who used to be a bounty hunter but is currently down on his luck. I have a few more ideas, but I have been itching to get into a hexblade.
