[LFP] (5e) homebrew saturday nights!

Due to again players leaving I require 2 or 3 new faces for my saturday campaign.  our sessions are every saturday at 9pm est.  Discord and a good quality mic are a requirement for voice and such so please leave that here or PM me.  Anything from the PHB, UA, volos and xanthars are allowed our current party is a fighter, monk and wizard of third level. The most interesting character concept will be considerd, as this is a more roleplay heavy campaign im looking for creativity and genuine interest.  As for what you are signing up for: the party resides in a time where this world of my making faces its great economical depression, with dragons on the loose its hard to grow or make anything of value because catching the eye of a dragon means death. The party spent some time on vacation island before taking a ferry back to the central continent, on the way there they fought a spectral pirate and sunk his ship, claiming his bounty upon returning to land which consisted of a land deed far west. The party talked their way into riding with a traveling circus westward.
I have a UA revised ranger in mind.  His whole village (including his parents) was sacrifice by an evil cults.  He's on the journey of track down his enemy and take down any evil being stand in his way.
Sounds interesting. You haven't really mentioned what the setting is , so I assume its just generic fantasy land Dnd laquered in Tolkein. I've been wanting to play a Fey pact warlock styled as a sort of knight errant. Fictional medieval knights were basically just wandering murderho- err, I mean adventurers. The Patron I think would work best for what I have in mind would be Nimue, the lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend. That's what I got.
One questions (A couple friends and I are interested) Is this XP based or milestone levels?
Sadly, I’m only available for 2 Saturday’s out of the month, but if you guys are interested in having a semi-irregular player, I’m your guy! Also, how long do your sessions usually last? Character Concept: Hill Dwarf Cleric (Thomas Flamefist). A neutral good dwarf who abides only by the law of Moradin, dismissing the law of the land, for the most part. Thomas comes from a long line of brewmasters and is the current heir to “Flamefist Brewery” creators of the famous “Flaming Fist Ale”. Sadly, due to the introduction of the new “Bugmans Brew” ale that has been released, Flamefist Brewery is going under. Thomas has set out to explore this vast world in order to find the greatest secret ale ingredients known to dwarfkind. Thus, he’s joined up with a party of adventurers. They should know enough about adventuring to keep him safe, he knows that he couldn’t do it without these guys.

I'd be interested, but I'd want to ask you more about the world and party before I decided on a solid character concept or backstory, since I'd like it to fit well into the world and not be disruptive to the existing group. Off the top of my head, it looks like a Paladin, Bard, Druid or Cleric would fit the group on the mechanical side of things, judging by the classes you've got there. I've been wanting to run all four of those classes for a while, so that suits me just fine. I'd be happy to talk concept with you, if you can spare the time.
To start off my discord is Omega the cucked #4314. I’m an experienced player with almost a year in 5e now I dm weekly as well on Thursdays but I’m looking to be a player again. What better way than joining some random people for a lovely game of dnd right?  Well I’ll be playing a human cleric of the domain of life named Barnabus Masterton. A 40 year old cleric who prays to Lliira goddess of joy. He’s a jovial man who enjoys making people happy and keeping things peaceful and fun. He’s portly being 250 pounds with a slightly receding hairline of dark brown hair and a cleanly shaven face. He stands at the average height of 5’6 and has deep laugh lines and a farmers tan. He loves to drink and socialize and can usually be found helping people in poorer conditions, curing the sick, and healing wounded people. He’s Neutral good with the Sage backround and being that of an alchemist and a brewer of potions, alcohol, and other such liquids. Anyways that’s mycharcater for your consideration. Have a wonderful day!
