In this Goblin Hole, players start out in a social environment at a local Inn. At some point, the bard plays a song, and everyone is transported outside of space and time, into a huge battle map. The environment they find themselves in has been nerfed. Instead of dying, players re-spawn far away from the battlefield. You might read this and think "He is trying to turn D&D into a video game!". The fact is that players are approaching D&D from the world of video games. This single encounter allows players to engage with the world of D&D using mechanics stolen from video game culture, while still preserving what is awesome about D&D. There are two sets of enemies and up to 10 players. The enemies are in competition for making kills and are run by two DM's while I operate the game as a GM. The action is non-stop fun. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/116940/there-ar...
