Any interest in a West Marches hexcrawl type of game?

I'm trying to gauge interest in a hexcrawl type of game, something akin to the infamous West Marches campaign. If you're unfamiliar with this type of game, you can read a bit about it at the following link: West Marches Perhaps this thread can be the start of a discussion on how and why I'm interested in this type of game. Perhaps it will be largely ignored. At any rate, if anyone has even an inkling of interest, post a reply and we can discuss it further. Thanks!
I am tengentially interested. I have been looking to put together a game where the players are either troubleshooters for a noble house, or a group of knights who defend a country. So, kingdom building and management. I wanted to make the country more than a backdrop, and a hex crawl seemed to be the way to do it. I'm not sure if that's  what you had in mind, but I'm liking the flexibility and player base angle. My group barely meets anymore.
This legit sounds fun. Ive always been a big fan of the large exploration style games! Never really had the balls to run a west marches, nor have I had the chance to play in one. What kind of world were you planning?
I read the West Marches post, sounds really cool. I would be interested. I have time here and there and it sounds truly fun and laid back, and interactive.
So to address each of you that have replied to my post (and thank you for taking the time to do so!)... Caylon, I was thinking something more along the lines of a simplistic hex and dungeon crawl type of game using a simple system (DCC, BECMI, maybe 5E?). Kingdom building and management might be something that would occur later one though. Andrew, I did not as of yet have a specific world in mind. I've pondered using Greyhawk and the old hex maps from it and making it entirely custom for this type of game. Alternatively, I could build a world as we go, just provide a few starting hexes and expand as the players explore outwards. Something akin to the beginning of the West Marches type of game. Were you looking for something specific in terms of a kind of world? Fudwamper, I'm glad this sounds interesting. I haven't yet decided on a specific rules system to use; any thoughts or input on that?
