[LFP] [Pathfinder] [PvP] One-shot tonight

Hey, my name is John. I'd like to be your GM this evening. I am hosting a 1-shot arena style PvP event tonight. 6pm EST. (If you happen to see this after 6pm, feel free to stop by as well, since I'll be on all night). Open Enrollment, no amount of max players. I am planning on doing this into the wee hours of the morning if need be. Level: 5. Point Buy: 20 Races: Core only Classes: Core only Traits: 2, no rich parents. no adopted, nothing that grants you items/money for free or discounted. Flaws/Drawbacks: 0-1, if you take one you are allowed another trait. However, if you take one that makes absolutely no sense for your character, I'll leave the drawback but remove the trait. Feats: No item creation feats, no pre-leadership feats, no extra trait feat, nothing that grants you any free/discounted items, nothing that allows you an extra follower or familiar. Note: wizards get spell focus [any] , or skill focus: [stealth] instead of scribe scroll. Note #2: Standard familiars are allowed. Starting Wealth: Wealth by level. You may not spend more than 1/4th your wealth on a single item. Magic: Magic is seen as cowardly in the arena, however it is not prohibited. You are allowed levels in a spell casting class, but you are not allowed to acquire levels in spell casting classes that take you beyond 1st level spells. For quick reference, I have included the list/level allowance below. The crowd will surely boo you if you use spells obviously. The arena gate is enchanted with a dispel magic barrier, resulting in any pre-gaming effects being voided upon entry to the arena. This means that you must cast spells in the arena. If the crowd sees you, they will surely be displeased... take that for what you will. Bard: 3 levels. Cleric: 2 levels. Druid: 2 levels. Sorcerer: 3 levels. Wizard: 2 levels. All other core classes: 5 levels. Escape: Unlike the main game I am gearing up for... there is nothing after escaping the arena. Any attempts to escape will succeed. But you won't be allowed to play more... so why bother? The future: I am planning a longer more in-depth city building game (well, gladiator school building game), but need to test out some arena style combat first. This will hopefully serve as that. Yes, there will be balance issues. No, I do not care. Create your characters with this in mind. Balance issues will be taken into consideration before I run the more in-depth game, and before the next arena playtest game. However, I don't want to hear about it before this game. Feel free to comment after. Gladiator combat is not meant to be fair. The join game link: Will update in an hour or so, I'm late for a lunch date with the most beautiful girl in the world. Feel free to stop by, take a character from the "Empty Character Sheets" folder, fill it out, and rename it.

Update #2 Unchained: Allowed Archetypes: Allowed (be reasonable though)
Can I build a guy in a suit of living armor, with slime and spikes, that grapples the heck outta everything it touches and looks really creepy? 'cuz if not I don't wanna play! Just kidding. I can't play tonight, but I might drop by rather late if you're still around. Join this guy's game, folks, he's fun to play with! -Phnord
@Phnord Only if I can remove your eye with a cr 1/3rd creature with a broken scimitar.
Still LFP Have two people so far. Will push back the start time if less than 4 people join.
Any problems with ranged builds?
No, however I have accounted for this in the setup, and it won't be as simple as just sniping from across the map. There are places to hide, traps to trigger, and neutral threats to take into consideration.
Lol, Im fine with that. Working on a toon right now
Come join the game, there's a character sheet in game. https://app.roll20.net/join/3371037/7FPm9A
