Nervous first time player looking for a game

Hello everyone! So.. just a little about me first. I have always been a little too nervous to play D&D, what with the social anxiety and all that. But I'm ready to try and break that little lock on my heart and finally give it a try, cause it just seems so fun! My experience with D&D is basically just watching Critical Role (Which I'm a little over 2/3 of the way through)... and the Neverwinter MMO to an extent. So I have a faint idea of what I am doing, at least in 5e. I've taken a look at the names of the campaigns at least, and they all seem interesting! I love me some Dragons and some Demons, though I'm not too fond of Thunder... But I'm sure Storm Kings are fun! Though I hear the Lost Mines of Phendelvar is a good starting point. But I'm really happy with anything, even homebrew or old adventures too! To my understanding everybody is happy to have a Cleric around, and I've been interested in trying out a Cleric so I'm sure I would be an asset to my team! I was kinda hoping to play with people around my age (21), but that's not at all a requirement. It would also be cool to play with some other first timers I think! If you're fine with a noobie who will probably ask a bajillion questions, let me know! I work 8am-5pm EST Mon-Fri, and I am BASICALLY free every weekend, except for the rare circumstances I'm not. I know that's annoyingly vague, but a lot of my plans with friends usually spark up spontaneously. But if I know I have other arrangements, then I can reschedule them. Hi Kekkles,  So glad you decided to put yourself out there and join this fantastic hobby! I'm currently working on creating a homebrew campaign using D&D 5e rules and am looking for players. My wife (who will be a player in the game) and I are experienced in the game and enjoy teaching new players the ropes.  We'll be playing Saturdays for probably 3-5 hours in the afternoons (EDT), and I'm planning on starting on Saturday the 16th. Hi Kekkles, I'm working on running some of the published adventures for 5e, starting with Lost Mines of Phandelver, and I'm currently looking for new players to join. I've been playing for several years now, and DMing for most of them. I'm working these sessions around new players who are interested in playing, so the environment is going to be pretty relaxed.
