[LFG][DnD 5e][Homebrew] Finding the Path

Hello!  I'm starting up a homebrew idea I had in DnD 5e, running Thursday nights at 7pm CST (-6 UTC) weekly.  Game will be about an even split between RP and combat, with adjustments according to the preferences of players.  DM already accounted for, with a highly adaptive style.  Planning on starting 6/28, but may start a week or even two sooner if there is interest.   Please see the link to my game here if you're interested or PM me for more details! Edit: Corrected Link to LFG
I am very interested. I am interested in playing a warlock right now. I am aerie. 21. Pretty easy to get along with. Prefer some roleplay definitely not a hack-and-slasher.
Sounds great! If you wouldn't mind just  going to our LFG page and posting a little bit about yourself and your character concept in a discussion topic, I'll be happy to send you an invite
You've got my attention. Buuut, I think my character concept would be somewhat dependent on some specifics of how you intend to deal with certain rulesets and mechanics. For example, most DM's I've known find a lot of the "cost of living" stuff to be a waste of time, but some really want that added layer of realism. Is there anything noteworthy that you ignore or alter how it works?
Nick, generally my style is to include those things in the places it where it really adds to the story.  For instance, we might pay attention to how much water the party can carry if they decide to cross a huge desert, but wouldn't waste the time with foraging for food if journeying through a pleasant forest, as we can safely assume there are plenty of berries to be nabbed along the way and game to hunt in the evening. Cost of living I usually deal with on an 'above average' basis, so I don't bother charging the pittance for bare-bones living, but if the party wants to stay in a fancy inn to impress the locals, or throw a raucous party, that will probably cost them some gold!  If there's anything further you're concerned about for how it would affect your character, feel free to PM me if you want to keep it spoiler free for the other players!
