Hello and welcome! This is an adventure using the Pathfinder Adventure of "Kingmaker", and although we are using this Paizo adventure module (planning on all six books), there will be some deviation from the norm for any of you who have already tasted the journey. Me: I am an experienced DM who has been running games in various systems for over 12 years. I cut my teeth on D&D 3.X before getting extensively into WoD and Classic WoD games (VTM, Scion, Mage: Ascension), and then circled back to Pathfinder and 5e D&D. I prefer an open structure that allows players to experience the full breadth of possibility, but also holds players characters accountable for their deeds. You: An openness to talk about the problems your characters face and how to solve them, and consistent availability on Thursday nights from about 7 to 11pm (negotiable) Central Time (US). You should be at least introduced to Pathfinder, but not necessarily "skilled" or intimately familiar as a requirement. You should be looking for a game that is a balance of planning/kingdom management, hack n slash, and character driven roleplay in roughly equal parts. You should be willing to accept that this game will be run without the use of any 3rd party books to draw on. And you should be willing to accept that, while it is okay for characters to scheme against one another, it is never okay for PC's to be persistently, fundamentally opposed to one another--we all agree to get to the table for the same aim, and that shapes the experience for us all. We'll be looking for do character creation starting the 14th, and probably continuing through the 21st, and then starting as soon as possible from there. Rough sketch of framework for playing: -We will use Discord for voice communication --Invite pending your acceptance to this game --Rolls/maps/etc done in Roll20 --Character sheets primarily kept on Myth-Weavers --"First Party" books only for characters. --20 pt buy --2 traits, or 3 with drawback --Anyone playing a Rogue or Barbarian will be playing the Unchained Variant; Monks may choose which --No class which uses an Eidolon is allowed. --Will be making use of Downtime Rules --Minor corrections to Feat availability (Some feats combined, some freely available, we'll talk about this later) I look forward to hearing from you!
