New DM LFG [DnD 5e Saturday]

Hello all, I've been playing 5e for about a year now on roll20 and have decided to pull the trigger and DM. I'm envisioning a sandbox style game with heavy reliance on collective storytelling. The game will be discord voice and roll 20 for combat when appropriate. In between sessions there will be a text-rp channel where we can continue the story or have characters deepen their relationships. 18+. Saturdays at Noon EST. Themes may be mature, but no player harrasment will be tolerated. Sessions will take approx 3-4hours. Looking for 5-6 players.   High fantasy in the prime material plane, all official wotc material approved (No UA- except ranger, no monstrous races, no Evil alignment). We will do 4d6 drop lowest for stats, with one stat set to 16.  The setting is in the prime material plane, on a different planet than the forgotten realms but similar in essence. Civilization has experienced two centuries of peace, when the great kingdoms signed an everlasting treaty and have built a joint capital, Sundrion. As the armies of the kingdom were without enemy, they reshaped into adventuring guilds and many foul beasts and evil-kin have been stricken from the land. Now the roads are safe with the exception of the rare bandit attack, the seas are free from krakens, and trolls nigh extinct. With many extrinsic threats covered, lands grew increasingly prosperous, culture is elevated and the people are happy. But even in the midst of tranquility, wise men ponder- what happens to cattle after they are fattened? If interested please reply below with... Name: Age: Roll 20 experience: 5e experience: What type of game are you looking for: I look forward to playing with yall.
is it weekly or bi-weekly?
Stefan Timmons 27 Roll 20 experience is about a year in.  I've played in multiple games and ran 2. 5e experience is about the same as the Roll20. I'm personally looking for a roleplaying heavy game, story driven, where character death is a distinct possibility, especially in terms of a good "story" death.  (Also have a friend that would probably want to play as well, someone I DM for)
Game would be weekly. Death will be possible, the characters I envision are heroic but not superheroic.
Sounds perfect to me, that's my application.  As stated, I have a friend that would very likely play if accepted as well.  Keep in touch, and thank you.
Name:  Bob Age: 41 Roll 20 experience: About 4 or 5 years, both playing and running pathfinder games. 5e experience: I started playing 5E about 3 years ago.  I have played most every class up to this point. What type of game are you looking for: My favorite types of games are those where we tell a good story.  I have my moments when I want to kill stuff, but more often I would prefer to be plotting, investigating and solving puzzles.  I like feeling like we are helping to shape the world (for better or worse).  I also kinda like the morally gray games as well.  Sometimes where we don't have to always do the "good thing."

Hey! I talked to you on Discord.  I was the guy who wanted to play a unique Barb maybe but added ya.
Hello, Spoke to you on Discord, was the one interested in the Eldritch Knight or Cleric.
Name: Gary Age: 30 Roll 20 experience: Well versed in everything but scripts 5e experience: Been playing since it was published What type of game are you looking for: I'm character driven, but adaptable. As long as everyone is focused on having a good time I'll be well suited.
Hey spoke with you on disc! name: domenick age: 24 experiance: no roll 20 experience Have played dnd 5e for about 2 years  I'm looking for a more character driven game with a good amount of roll play. I want to get to know the characters and feel like we overcame challenges and had to think our way thru some fights not just all out slug fests for 4 hours. That said no better feeling than setting a troll aflame ever now and again
Bump. Still space open for 3 more.
Ethan 29 I am self sufficient using roll 20. Know how macros work adding spells etc. I would say I'm fairly new to 5e. Been playing it for the past year among my friends. I also have experience in other pen and paper games so its not like I'm totally new to the pen and paper scene. I tend to play characters that aren't combat proficient and work more towards interacting with the environment and world(given we don't need fighters or barbs.). I love when I can get into my character because he has a connection to the world and it gets me into it and developing my character as a person.
