Re-Join as Player Button - Map Layer Gone

I've set up a map with dynamic lighting, have a token set up with light, sight, etc. Fog of War is off, so the token lights up anything in its line-of-sight. Everything looks great when I'm logged in as GM. But when I press the Re-Join as Player button, the map layer disappears and all I see is the grid over the background color. The dynamic lighting works fine, and all of the masked off areas are where they are supposed to be. But the background map image doesn't show. Any ideas why this is happening? I'm using Chrome, and I'm not launching via a Google Hangout.
Are you sure the map's not on the GM layer? Only thing I can think of offhand...
Definitely double check what layer the map is on. That's my first thought as well.

It's on the map layer. I just tried viewing the same page on Internet Explorer. Same result.

Are any of your players able to view the map? Also note that versions of IE older than 11 are definitely not recommended for use with Roll20. IE11 seems to work, but hasn't been fully tested yet.
Haven't had any players test it out. Didn't want to roll it out until it was working properly. As for IE, my primary browser, and the one I usually use for Roll20, is Chrome. I tried it on another computer, and the map background was invisible on that PC as well. I have another map without any dynamic lighting and the Fog of War disabled. When I switch to Re-Join as Player, the map remains visible, as intended.
Hm. If you disable the dynamic lighting on the map page that isn't showing up properly, does that make it visible?
Nope. Just a token with no background image. Had a player test it out, and he has the same problem on his computer.
Have you tried clearing your browser cache? I'm just trying to run through the reasons why an object would be visible to one person and not another.
The map is not visible to one of the players on another computer. He can see the dynamic lighting effects, but not the image on the map layer.

The reason I'm asking about the browser cache is that sometimes an object disappears (either deleted or if the original web-source ceases to be available) but persists in one person's cache causing only they to be able to see it. I just wanted to rule that out as any kind of possibility. If clearing the cache isn't helpful, then could you try grabbing the console log contents for when you are logged in as a player ( Step 4 on this page in case you need instructions)? That might give an indication as to why the object isn't loading. I'm also going to move this thread to the bug reports forum.
Ok, somehow I had the map on the GM layer. Don't know what I did, but problem resolved. Thanks for tolerating my noobishness.

You might have moved it there by mistake via a shortcut key command. Ctrl/Cmd+K while an image is selected will move that image to the GM layer.
As Kristin said, it can happen by accident. It's always good when there's a simple fix. :)
