Fog of war button missing

When i enter my game the fog of war button (eye icon) is there as normal, i press it and choose the tool i want, if i choose the Hide Area option the button will disappear until i reload the page. I still have the hide area tool selected but if i ever want to reveal an area i will have to reload the page. Reveal area and Polygon reveal function as normal. I could not find a forum post about this problem and am not sure what could be causing it, anyone had this problem before?

I just tested the fog of war issue and found the same problem. Description of the issue: Selecting the "hide" fog of war tool in the left toolbar makes the fog of war button disappear.
