[LFP][5e][PAID] Lost Mines of Phandelver/Tyranny of Dragons - Mondays 10:00pm EST

Over five hundred years ago, a pact was made between a clan of gnomes and dwarves which became known as the Phandelver Pact. Together they mined the magically rich ores within Wave Echo Cave. Human spellcasters from nearby Phandalin joined forces with them and together they combined their collective skills to create a forge to craft magical items dubbed the Forge of Spells. Everything came to an abrupt end when orcs, craving magical treasures, sieged Phandalin and the Wave Echo Cave mine. The battle destroyed Phandalin and much of the mine as well, causing various cave-ins throughout. Very few survived the conflict to relate the tale. The Forge of Spells become legend and the entrance to Wave Echo Cave was lost. Until now..... _______________________________________________________ This is a Dark Galaxies Gaming hosted game with one of very own lovely Dungeon Mistresses! Always on cam, our stunning femme fatales will allure you and engage your attention the entire session. Take caution! Lovely as they are, they will gladly TPK you as easily as any other DM (albeit, with a giggle and bit of mockery) without thinking twice about it! Under the care of our Dungeon Mistresses, you won’t even feel bad about dying. So come play with us, we are excited to have you! What we bring to the table: + Respect and understanding for all involved in the game. + A bunch of Roll20 add-ons and a Pro account with all lighting and spell F/X features. + A personable, engaging play experience with a lovely, always presentable DM who is on cam for every session (You don’t have to be on cam to play, however!) + Refund for any personal, weather or technical issues that may arise. No questions asked. Why do should you pay to play? 1) Players who are as dedicated and invested in the game as you are. 2) Avoid the difficulty of getting into a game (we’ve all been there on Roll20). 3) Good quality prep and gamemastering. You will be challenged AND have fun! We still have spots open for this game! I am seeking two more players to get the campaign rolling. It’ll be a fun time!
One more fearless adventurer and the party will embark on their journey next Monday! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! We need only one more person to start, but have spaces open for up to three more adventurers (max of 6).
When paid games first became a thing there was a huge backlash but rightfully understandable because DMs put a lot of effort into making the games, but with this game you are literally just paying to have your DM be an attractive female who you can stare at the whole time rather than paying for a quality experience. What about your game actually makes it worth $60 a month to play in other than than "There is a female on cam"? Genuine question because thats basically the only thing that DGG seems to be marketing itself as. Doesn't seem like it would be very good for a gaming environment if the only reason the other players are really there is because of the GM's looks.

Hi Daniel! Great question. I can’t speak for every single DGG dm because I don’t personally know them all, but I have an actual 4-year degree in Game Design, and have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since I was a sophomore in high school (7 years ago) from 3.5e to 5. I own my own copies of the Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and have resources saved for any and all extra materials I may need, such as Volos’. I have been a player in more campaigns than I can keep track of, and been brewing my own Breath of the Wild themed campaign setting to make available for those who want to play it. So while I am a female, I am extremely confident that the campaigns I put together for you and your party will be absolutely top-notch. As a further point, yes, we do advertise the fact that we have female DMs and make a point of mentioning that they will be on cam. I completely understand if that isn’t your cup of tea, or not something that you find personally worth your time and money. But some people do. Maybe it is a male player who wants to see a pretty face DMing their game. Maybe it’s a group of girls who have been too timid to break into the overwhelmingly male campaigns. Maybe it’s a roleplaying fanatic who values having an always on-cam DM to help act out the triumphs and tribulations of their party I completely understand that some players don’t want to pay for the d&d sessions, or, more to the point, want to pay a price for their DM to be a certain gender. But please don’t insinuate that my or any of our DMs’ campaigns are low effort or low quality because players are paying for an “attractive female” and not a “quality experience.” The two are not mutually exclusive, and female DMs can provide campaigns that are just as high quality as any other DM. Thank you so much for your feedback; please let me know of there’s anything else I can answer for you!
