inexperienced dm looking for a group

(this is the same text from the game post) WARNING! I have never dm'd before and I am in no way a master of dnd in any way shape or form. if you chose to join this game please dont be to harsh on me I'm very knew to doing this kind of stuff. if your ok with having an incompetent dm who wants to share a very different kind of story Great. without spoiling to much about the story which I kind of want to keep the players as in the dark about as possible. the characters you will be playing as will not be made before the game. instead , and i'm curious as to how this will go, the players become more unique and individual as the story goes on. starting out as blank ordinary slates and developing there skills individually, as well as learning about the world around them and creating there own personality's as they grow. another important thing about how I want to run this game is, I heavily want to avoid hangups due to snafus with rules and such. there have been many times I have tried to jump into dnd as a player and the experience was massively crushed by my lack of experience being surrounded by 20 minute conversations about 1 goblin being punched in the face were every word being uttered sounds like i'm making first contact with interdenominational life. I want to be as fast as can be while still having the game be enjoyable and as such while I am using dnd as a base. theirs a lot of unique nuances and changes that I may make in order to smoothin out the game as well as create interesting mechanics. overall if your looking to join a game and are ok with a new dm that isnt really all that focused and is more interested on sharing a world and having a good time. leave a application bellow. I'm fine with people who are also new. all i'm looking for is your name (or username if you would rather not disclose that) and what kind of story's you find interesting as well as a bit about how you like to play dnd or other role playing games depending on your experience of course. game times will without a doubt fluctuate. I work late at my current job and my hours are all over the place so games might not always be on the same day. example: Hi my real name is Jack. I have always been fond of action based story's that surround multiple characters overcoming impossible odds and such. I hope to someday while not professionally write stories as a hobby although I currently am a bit of a massive procrastinator. either way I try to be as unique and different with my story writing as possible avoiding common cliches and adding my own style into the mix. as you no doubt have seen in the shitty art that I put as the picture for this game, for a time I tried my hand at drawing but for the time being its kind of a dead hobby although I wish to return to it someday. either way I look forward to giving you guys a great story to join in on. (note. it doesn't have to be this long) here is the link to the game page to post your application or if you want you can put it here but I would preffer it be posted on the game page. Im only looking for maybe about 5 or 6 players. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/122074/servco-chronicles

By default a link such as https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/1234567/s ... is only visible to players already in the game, and only Plus and Pro subscribers can make their games visible to the public , but even then people not in the game can not post to the forums. The best way to handle this situation is to create a Looking for Group listing ; even if you do not enable it for viewing in the LFG Directory you can share the link with others and have a separate Listing Discussion forum just for those potentially interested in your game. As a bonus, anyone who posts to your game's Listing Discussion forum will have a big blue button by their username and all a GM has to is click 'Invite to Game' and an invitation will be sent their way. I hope this helps, happy gaming!
Hello! My real name is Cody and I'm definitely interested in this! Fair warning I'm brand new to D&D. I understand some of the basics and know how it all generally works. I usually play a warrior type character if that helps? I know it'd be a fighter in this case but yeah. I couldn't click on that link as the mod team says so here I am!
