Membership payment issues

First off i am not sure if this is even the right forum to post this in but i have a problem i would like help with. I ran out of money on my card to pay for my membership so to help my friend tried to gift me 5 dollars of his own money to pay for the first tier membership. However even though the payment went through i did not receive the pro membership and so we tried again but this time with 6 dollars however this time it went through and took out 10 dollars the payment for the highest tier membership. But it stated that i had the pro. this left us confused but didnt worry us to much. this happened a week ago. Now what should have been a month pro membership is gone stating that the payment was late even though the new member ship should have been a month. Did i miss something? was my old final tier membership still being paid for? did i owe a fee? did i need to cancel the old membership if so how? If any one can share some light on what is going on I would appreciate it.
