Like the title says. My only time available to GM right now is sunday mornings. I plan on starting at either 7 or 8am CST and the games will run approximately 4hrs (could go longer or shorter depending).  I currently have 1 player, relatively new but that's not a problem to me.  I have 3 major criteria I look for in players: 1) Being on time to games. Tardiness is a pet peeve, and I think it's rude if everyone else is on time and ready to play/hang out, but one person is late so everyone else is waiting on them.  2) Know your character. You don't have to know every rule down to the T, but at the very least, know your characters skills/spells and abilities. When we are on initiative, you have 30 seconds to decide what your course of action is. Asking a question to clarify something or ask if you can do <this thing> does not count in those 30 seconds. I want my players to be actively engaged as much as possible. 3) Be team players. Don't try to backstab other PC's because 'lul it's what my character would do'. You're in control of your character, don't be or make 'that guy/girl'.  I've been GM'ing about 5yrs now. And we will have a session 0 with everyone present. We will talk about expectations, general rules, what everyone considers fun in a campaign and then make characters (roll stats, point buy, or standard array, your choice).  If you're interested, PM me or post on here.  Your Name:  Your Age: Your Time Zone: Your 5E experience:  Did you read my 3 points above?  Edit: I don't care about your character concept right now. What I want is 3-4 players that will play well together and make the game fun for everyone. You can all play orc wizards for all I really care. The game I run will be based off the players and what we all consider 'fun'. I personally emphasize roleplay, where 'does this make sense' is how I generally run my games.
Your Name:  Adam     Your Age: 26 Your Time Zone: EST Your 5E experience: White Plum Mountain 2 months weekly and Curse of Strahd 6 months weekly All of my D&D knowledge is from Actual Podcasts and PHB. (Sneak Attack!, Critical Roll, Godsfall) Did you read my 3 points above? Yup *heres hoping it will make combat quick* By far my favorite aspect of D&D so far Character 1 concept: Lvl 1 Life Cleric / Monk (Way of the Sun Soul) Neutral Good Human Spear Master  Markas a disciple of Lathander grew up as an orphan in the Order of the Sun Soul monastery. Markas was raised by Kulth a cleric of The Morninglord. Kulth and Markas worked side by side curing ailments, binding wounds, mending bones with the blessing of Lathander. The monastery provides medical care, spiritual guidance and food for the poor of Everlund. Over the years Markas tended to street children of Everlund, children coming in with the same injuries time and time again. Clear signs of beatings and general abuse. After seeing regular cruelty beset upon the weak and underprivileged Markas began to train. Under the resident Monks of the Sun Soul monastery Markas made his body an instrument to defend the weak. Rather than treat symptoms of cruelty Markas decided attack cruelty its self.  Character 2 concept: Lvl 5 Barbarian / Druid (Circle of the Moon) Neutral Evil Goliath(or Half-Orc) Intelligent raider  Rolof is a selfish raider of the dread fang tribe, his tendency to value power above all along with his clever mind make him a very dangerous being.  (could be on a quest to hunt down humanoid prey that escaped and joined a group of adventures for strength in numbers while he tracks his prey)
Your Name: Zach, but I much prefer my handle Your Age:20 Your Time Zone: PST/PDT Your 5E experience: A couple years now, but never anything serious. (never made it past level 3) I would love to be a part of a more serious campaign though, hence why i'm here. Did you read my 3 points above?  Be on time, know your character, don't be a dick. Simple enough.

Name: Aaron Age: Geezer Timezone: Pacific 5E Experience: One 3-year campaign as player, 2 1-year campaigns as DM. Rest of my experience is largely pre-5E and other systems. I read and understand your 3 criteria. Number 3 is pretty on-point. I can't tell you how many players I've seen that will try to justify bad/stupid/vindictive behavior with some kind of ridiculous backstory rationalization. ("But my character is Chaotic Jackass", "My character's religion says I have to steal from just the one guy in the game who laughed at me last week...") Game's gotta be fun, right? If what somebody does is not fun, then why is he doing it?
Your Name: Ghost will do. Your Age: 26 Your Time Zone: EST is bEST Your 5E experience: From launch, and I have the rules pretty down overall. I've been playing since 2nd edition, so I'd like to think I'm good at it by now. I also DM from time to time, when I can find players who can keep a schedule. Did you read my 3 points above?: Yep. Sounds all reasonable to me.
Your Name: Falcon  Your Age:16 Your Time Zone:CST Your 5E experience: one 5 month campaign Did you read my 3 points above? yeah be on time, dont hold up the game, and dont be a dick
Name:     Ben (real) or Xiphias. Age & Experience:     32. Came into D&D thanks to Critical Role back in 2015. Been playing since, but only as a DM until recently (had one session as a player so far). Looking to play more. You won't find my primarily-DM experience to be a problem, as I fully understand the concerns and considerations from your side of the table. Time Zone:     GMT+10. Australia. 7-8am CST Sunday will be late Sunday night/early Monday morning for me (and that's not a problem, even if sessions run long). Did you read my 3 points above?     Yep. I'm only posting because points 1 & 2 are things I strongly agree with, and 3 is on my list of expectations.
Your Name: Emily Paulsen Your Age: 26 Your Time Zone: MST Your 5E experience:  Hullo, Elliot! I had the chance to beta test the version when it came out and was happy about the finished result! Since then, I've played a few encounters across a few different groups (I played a lot of tabletop from game shop DM's in the past). I'm honestly much better versed in 4e, but I get by 5e with the Player's Handbook. Did you read my 3 points above?  1) I know the importance of punctuality! It's never fun to delay an encounter everyone is eager for on account of a non-responsive player. I've been trying to be more of a morning person, so 8-9am MST on a Sunday for me is reasonable. 2) I'm also familiar with the pitfalls of online D&D, where it's so easy for players to get distracted and not know what to do on a turn. I like to prepare my characters on interactive PDF's (which I can send to a DM, which is helpful for being transparent about my abilities and stats) and often play with macros and pre-written text to use abilities quickly.  3) I can't tell you the number of times my wizard-playing brother has caught me in a fireball. I'm used to negotiating battle strategies and taking one for the team. While I enjoy roleplay between characters of different beliefs, I've never been one to actively sabotage someone. Respect is my number one priority! Right next to looting the bodies.
Your Name: Lynn Your Age: 30 Your Time Zone: CST Your 5E experience: I've been playing 5E for about three years. I've played a homebrew campaign, several one-shots, Curse of Strahd, and am in a West Marches campaign. I've got a good sense of character (both making one that I find engaging and who works with the party, even if their end goals are different) and am quick with the rules. Mechanically, I'm sound, so the 30 seconds to act is not a problem. Did you read my 3 points above? Absolutely.
Your Name: Steven     Your Age: 24 Your Time Zone: CST Your 5E experience: I am nearing 3 years of 5e experience. In those 3 years I have been a player a bit, highest ever level as a player is 7. However I have DM'd far more then I have been a player. Did you read my 3 points above? Yes and they are not going to be a issue for me.
