More than 2 attribute values

The option to have more than just 2 values on an attribute would be wonderful I think. A few attributes I have need more than just 2 values. I get around it now by assigning multiple attributes to it and calling each current/max as needed. This gets convoluted after needing 4-5 attribute values for one item. If there was a way to create new attributes and tell it to have more than 2 this would be a great help! For example the "Test" one here in the mock-up has 3 values:
