Hello and welcome to this thread. So first of all, for you to fit into this group you need to have some thick ass skin because pretty much anything goes in terms of jokes and the jargon can be pretty tough at times. The group currently consists of all scandinavians with me, the DM, being swedish, then we have two danes and a finn. You are welcome to be from wherever you want be to but the game will most likely take place on weekday evenings or weekends during GMT+1-friendly hours. Now, I don't want some rude asshat into the game, we all take the game very seriously and do not allow some chaotic neutral personality into the game to just ruin it all. We are all having fun in a controlled environment, it's just that the limits are not as limiting in terms of language use or content as you might be used to if you are a sensitive person. There. Warning given. Let's get to the actual post. I am looking for one player, or two players as a bundle. You should know each other beforehand and like eachother to the extent that you can play nice together. This game that I am going to run will start from first level and I will test out both the 5e system (first time I'm running this for a group) as well as testing out the group. What this means is that I will start off running two or three small adventures and then we will stop and evaluate if we wish to continue. If yes, then I already have a campaign continuation that goes into the late teens all sketched out. If no, then we end this whole game and go our seperate ways, or if we like each other but not the game or system we might start something else. No strings attached is the point I'm trying to make. The game will take place in my own homemade setting that I've been shaping for not-long-enough, though it is completely playable and even if I don't have everything written down I am very sure how most things work in the world. This also gives more room for players to help build and shape the world if you're into that kind of schtick. When talking about the theme of the game, the initial adventures will take place in a country stricken by war and the PCs will be expected to want to defend said country and strive to be heroes, for one reason or another. If the initial sessions go well and we decide to continue then the game will turn into a "save the world" story where everything hangs in the balance and only our heroes can save the world by killing all the baddies, God of War style. A small introduction to me: I am 25 y/o, born and raised in Sweden where I still reside and I have been game mastering since preschool really. Horror movies is my jam, Blizzard games taught me english and I love long walks on the beach. Now stop being so nosy. You have a whole lot of rights at my table but I prefer to talk about responsibilities. Here's a small list of things I expect from you: Treat everyone at the table with respect. Read the documents you are handed. Ask if you don't understand something. Contact me in private if anything makes you uncomfortable during play. Issues should be resolved as quickly as possible. Let me know if you are running late or are unable to attend a game. I expect you to have a working microphone and internet with adequate quality. We use discord for voice and scheduling. I expect you to be there. English is the language used at the table. I don't expect you to speak perfect english, but you should be articulate and comprehensible. Follow my rules. Be interested. Be an adult. If you are interested in playing and have any questions or wish to join, post in this thread and I will contact you in private. I will not respond to PMs that you initiate. Well Met Markus
