(Lfg) 30something year old man looking for a group of older players

Old man yells at clouds! And other important rambling stories. I'm looking to join a group of dnd players who are seasoned...ie around my age or at not weirded out rolling dice with someone in their mid thirties. About myself, I am a forever dm who has been aching to play in a regular game; in particular I'm a big fan of both combat and social focus with only a smattering of puzzles, but to be honest I would be happy in any regular game, If your looking for a player and don't mind an older player send me a message and let's set up a get to know each other interview.
I feel your pain man. I'm also one of those "permanent GM/DMs" that can't seem to find a game to actually play instead of run. I think I qualify for the old geezer status. I'm in my fifties. I'm hoping to find a game to actually play in as well, so maybe we can set up an Old Folks Roleplaying Home *Chuckles*
i am a DM nearing my 40's, I run a post-apocalyptic campaign on Sundays 7-9 MDT (mountain time). It ios a fairly dark and gritty game, death looking over your shoulder most of the time. If you think you have what it takes to rebuild the world, to mop up the guts of tyrants, dictators and ne'erdowells ..... the grab your mop and Join my campaign. we are a group of mostrly older players.. ( and myself as the Gm/DM) and i have been looking for experienced mature players who can show up consistently and hopefully not drop out after a month or two. the system ( Darwin's World) is very similar to D&D 3e/3.5E and pathfinder ( so i am told). if your interested, grab your weapon of choice ( i like a m-16a2 or a ak-47, but .44 kicks nice as well) and your mop and help my players clean up this broken world...
I'd be up for playing with ye i'm 20 and irish what's yer timezone? I;'m GMT+1

But we would need a clever group name. Like the Sunset Riders or something
I am 52, I have been gaming for 41 years, starting with Traveller. I am running Star Trek Adventures, but my game is full with 6, with more applicants in line already. Just saying hello.

Just saying hello. We sound like bookends, man. I'm your age, have been gaming since '74, played a multitude of systems, and am currently running a Star Trek Adventures game with an overfull complement. *Chuckles* Right on
:) there are a few of us around. Are you on the Starfleet Command Discord Server?

I am 51, started gaming in 1978 (I think, it is a long time ago). Running Savage Worlds thinking of starting up Call of Cthulhu or Flashing Blades.
Hey, I don't consider myself old at 40, but... We play 2:15-6:15pm EST which can be tough for most, but we have a couple of slots open if you're interested: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/2944204/beyond-the-halls-of-eveningstar It's 2nd Edition AD&D, and you might not even be the oldest player... ahem... ;)

By default a link such as https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/1234567/s ... is only visible to players already in the game, and only Plus and Pro subscribers can make their games visible to the public , but even then people not in the game can not post to the forums. The best way to handle this situation is to create a Looking for Group listing ; even if you do not enable it for viewing in the LFG Directory you can share the link with others and have a separate Listing Discussion forum just for those potentially interested in your game. As a bonus, anyone who posts to your game's Listing Discussion forum will have a big blue button by their username and all a GM has to is click 'Invite to Game' and an invitation will be sent their way. I hope this helps, happy gaming! :)
I'm level 40 plus myself. I have been running Obsidian Bay Stories as an open world campaign for 9 months here on Roll20. We have a solid group of mature and dependable players who consistently show up when they say they will. Our open world exists in between our regularly scheduled games. Everything that we do is canonical and influences the grand meta narrative. It all starts in this Character Creation Workshop. We help new players work through setting up their character sheet every day on Roll20. Join up anytime, we usually have an open session available every day. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/123709/character-creation-workshop

Count me in for Team Old Timers. I'm level 46, but started gaming in the mid 80s. And although I've got into a couple of groups here, something ends up not working out for me. And it's totally on my side of things to. I'm a father and husband and I just can't justify taking time from them to play during prime time hours. I can only play late evenings. 8pm CST (US) or later. Also... permanent DM here as well.

I have been trying to find an Edge of the Empire group for Sundays 7AM-10ish MST for 30+ (I am 42). At first I thought it might be odd to request an older group, but you guys have convinced me otherwise. Let me know if any of you are interested or have a spot for this geezer. :)
