Highlight Target

Is there a way to highlight/mark/ping a target so the DM knows which target the PC is targeting. Example There are times when there are 6 skeletons surrounding a PC (All labeled the same), and the PC says I hit the Skeleton. Is there a way to mark which one was hit? Thanks

I'm fairly certain that you can simply click and hold on the target to "ping" it. But what I usually do is to give each enemy a number and have them tell me which number they are hitting. I know that GMs have the power to ping targets and I think that the players do as well.

In addition: was looking for a macro that could assign a mark to represent like "Hunter's Mark" on the target.

Those are trivial things to do with the API, a Pro Subscriber Perk. Short of that, you're choices are one of: Hold down the left click select so that it produces a ping. Have the player use the drawing tools to indicate the token, possibly with a circle (Note: hold alt when dragging a selection to select only drawings). Have a "Crosshairs" character that everyone can control and drag out of the journal onto the token they want to mark.

Hi! A pointer image, numbered tags like at crime scenes, colored flags, and letter marks could add to your crosshair idea.
