Hi there. I'm working on a port to make warhammer 40k playable in roll20, and I'm encountering an issue. The sprites I am using are getting blurry whenever I turn them around, they get back to normal whenever I get them in the same position as the original image. It almost seems like roll20 is trying to round the edges, but it just makes everything looks less crisp, and overall pretty bad. Here's an example with a Tau fire warrior : http://imgur.com/emW37YV Don't try to look at the sprite too closely, just look at the overall feeling of each of them. The one to the left is the original image, without rotating it. The one to the right has been rotated as little as possible clockwise. It's really easy to see that the one on the right is blurry, compared to the left one which looks sharp. The colors seem to blend and it just looks pretty bad compared to the original sprite (you can see it really well on the white stripes of the rifle). Also, if I'm zoomed in at 150% right on the sprite, it's not blurry, even if it's rotated. But with the 100% zoom (which the scale I'm using to design the size of the sprites, so you can see the map without having to scroll), it's just blurry. I don't know what to do. It kinda defeats the point of trying to make sprites as good looking as possible within the smallest space possible, if they get blurry as soon as they're rotated even just a little bit (which they will always be during a game). So yeah. That's my problem. Is it a bug ? Is it on my end ? What can I do to fix it if it is ? Thanks in advance.
