The Wolves of Welton It’s been a long time since the people of Welton have worried about anything more frightening than sheep ticks or a late frost, but a now a pack of strangely determined wolves is driving farmers from their fields and spiriting away entire flocks in the middle of the night. With food supplies running low and their sorcerer-in-residence nowhere to be found, the village council sends out a desperate plea for brave adventurers to destroy the beasts for good. Is the job as easy as a walk in the woods, or is there more to the Wolves of Welton than mereanimal cunning? There's only one way to find out... Wolves of Welton is a well-regarded one-shot adventure for characters of Level 2-3, and is suitable for new and experienced players. About the game This session will take place on Wednesday 25th June 2018 19:30 GMT+1 and will last for a maximum of four hours. As a relatively new DM, I am planning to run some one-shots with a view to finding a group of compatible people who might be interested in, and able to commit to, a longer campaign. Both new and experienced players are welcome. Characters will be Level 3. If you feel comfortable creating a character, you are welcome to do so using official published materials, but no homebrew or UA. If you are not comfortable creating your own character, please use a pregenerated character from this page. Make sure to choose the Level 3 sheet. I will be able to assist with general questions about character choices and creation but will not be available to guide you through the process step-by-step. Things You Should Know This is a voice game, so you will require a decent microphone that should be set to Push-To-Talk. You will need to be signed up to Discord (for the voice chat) and Roll20 (for dicerolling, character sheets, and occasionally for combat) Players should be over 18. Roleplaying is highly encouraged, though you won't be pushed outside your comfort zone - you will not be forced to do silly voices. In your application, answer the question 'Have you thoroughly read the game information?' with the word 'Frumpkin'. If a situation arises where you are made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please either speak up or otherwise notify me or another player so that we can improve the situation for you. Deliberately annoying characters are not welcome. Kleptomania is not as funny or original as you think it is. Overtly sexual content, murderhobos, rules lawyers and attention hogs are also not welcome.
