Interrest check: Lord of the Rings

Hey, I have played and GM'ed a few pen and paper RPGs with some friends, but my favourite was definitely Lord of the Rings. I live in GMT+1 but I don't see why the evening for me should be a worse time than the bright day for you (or the other way around). I haven't played in a while, so I am a bit rusty, but I'm sure we cn figure out things as we go. I found this site, and signed up hoping to get going again, but I can't find any LotR RPGs, and I don't want to start . Maybe it's because nobody has offered it yet, or maybe here's just not enough interrest. Hope to hear from you, Alan. THE IMPORTANT: If you are interrested in a LotR test run, which might develop into a weekly/monthly session, don't hesitate to write here or PM me! I will try to put together a team, help with character creation and find the best time possible. Any players, new or expirienced, wellcome.
Well depending on what time it would be for me I might be interested. Could you send me some links to rules.
I have a PDF of the rule book, but it's pretty big so.. Don't know if you want the whole thing. It's pretty elaborate and there are endless possibilities all based on D6 tests. I have added the character sheet to give an idea: Character sheet
I haven't seen this version of Lotr role play. you should look at ... The one ring, by cubicle 7. It's the current game everyone is playing ,.. Many of which through roll20. Recently a new wiki section has been added to support it in roll20, it not on the same scale as DnD, but it is well supported, has fantastic feel, well illustrated etc. you would have better luck looking for groups or players for The One Ring. Try google+ there are groups for roll20 & Tor. Good luck
This sounds interesting. I am new but, looking to join groups of different games to get the feel of each game. I would like to join but, it just depends on the day and time that this will happen.

Clawlessdragon: I have seen the one ring mentioned, but I can't find any party to join. I would start a party myself, but I'm not familiar with the rules at all, so I thought it would be best to start with something I knew. John: The time is very important, but I didn't want to scare anyone off being too specific. This is a checkup to see if people are interrested. Seing as already 2 people seems interrested I could throw out a time. If we say.. One week from now at this time? (Tue Feb 25th, 6PM GMT) Please give feedback if this is a good time, and if not, when.
One Ring by Cubicle 7 is the best. I am GM for a group of ten players here once a week saturdays. If you go to Cubicle 7's site: <a href="http://forums.cubicle7.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9" rel="nofollow">http://forums.cubicle7.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9</a>... <a href="http://forums.cubicle7.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9" rel="nofollow">http://forums.cubicle7.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9</a>... there are always at least a few people looking for a GM. If you GM it it fills up in just a few days. It's narrative style game, many who play it like it way more than D&D. There's two groups here running, and a third that was looking for a GM for One Ring two weeks ago, one of the links above. Good luck in your search, I just added two more players last night, and now we're past full. If you GM one Ring, and do an okay job, it's a snap to find people.
