*Interest Check* Rotating DM's + Collaborative world building [5E]

Ever wanted to try DMing? Want to DM but don’t have the time to create a full campaign? Enjoy DMing but really want to play as a PC? Want to get into a campaign but avoid all the pay to play out there? So I have been thinking about trying out a game with rotating DMs. Essentially how I am thinking it would work is we first build a world together. I have been looking at something like Dawn of Worlds to do that. Once we have a world built together we would each take turns DMing a one shot of short multi session adventure. During that time each person in the DM seat has full reigns of the game. Once that DM is finished the next will take over hopefully trying to connect the previous session with the next one. I’m thinking starting off with some sort of adventure guild to keep things consistent. Eventually if someone gets a good idea to take over for a longer story arc we can start having each other take over for longer periods of time. Obviously the story isn’t going to go as deep as most campaigns, Continuity between session may be a little rough at times. But i think if we can get the right group this could be a unique experiment. I’m thinking five players, at least three which are willing to commit to the DM/PC rotation. Also time zone is UTC -6. I’m free Monday-Friday evenings and usually free during the weekends. Anyways shoot me a msg or reply here if anyone would be interested.
I am down for this I am in the UTC+1 timezone at the moment, as long as we are starting before 20:00 my time It works out.
I am intrigued by this idea of rotating DMs sharing a common world/campaign and party of adventurers (as I understand the concept). I've played for over 40 years with different gaming groups and often we would rotate DMs but each DM would run their own campaign while the players would need separate characters for each campaign. I usually DM and have tons of homebrew material but I don't want to run another full-on campaign, but I wouldn't mind a rotational thing if it means I can be a player more often than DM. I am retired so have quite a bit of flexibility as to when but I would prefer to avoid evenings (although Monday eves would work) and weekends. I am PDT (Western Canada) time zone. I definitely think this is worth experimenting with, and C.M, if you are willing to spearhead it, the timing has to work for you.
