Tablets and Roll20

Is anyone out there consistently using a tablet to play on Roll20? I am in need of a tablet and would like to purchase one that will work well w/ Roll20. I do know that I need to sub to Roll20 in order get tablet support, this I intend to do anyway. Secondly I am not looking for a iPad bc of their high cost(only reason just dont have alot to spoend).

I logged in through the family iPad to do some macro editing not too long ago. The results were...not pleasant. I haven't used an android tablet to log in, so I can't speak for those. But at this stage, I prefer to stick to my desk. Besides, during my game I usually have at least one PDF (the rulebook) open and half a dozen Evernote notes. Swapping between them on a tablet would be far more annoying in my experience.
From my research it seems the best course of action is to purchase/use a windows tablet.
android is no fun either
Roll20 on a tablet is an exercise in futility at the moment. The character entry popup is so wide you can't actually hit the "x" and have to refresh the page to get back into Roll20. Also it uses up so much memory on android it will close all your other apps.
So is it feasible to use a windows tablet and avoid issues.

I've used it on a W8 tablet myself and didn't have an issue, but it was with an i5 mobile processor. I'm not sure how well it would work with windows RT for the more tablety versions, as they only use windows apps. One important thing to remember is that there's typically *a lot* of typing on roll20, and that eats up a good chunk of screen unless you have a BT keyboard.

What windows was on your tablet if not RT? I've noticed in shopping around for a tablet that most I've seen have windows RT.
