Me and a friend recently lost our Friday morning game so now we're looking for a new one. 5th edition D&D, timezones preferably near to or within GMT so western Europe and UK, we greatly prefer a greater ratio of role play to combat/encounters, heavy on immersion. We don't have any real preference with regard to setting but we'd prefer a game that is good aligned and a campaign that will last us for years if possible. We'd also prefer a group no larger than 4 players all together (me my friend and two other players etc.) this is for many reasons, first and foremost is that larger groups mean a diluted and often chaotic dialogue, less time spent on meaningful or deep role play moments between individual characters as a result of too many people, not to mention the mess that voice chat can become in larger groups with everyone talking over each other. We're ideally looking for open minded individuals that share our love of D&D and respect one and other's differences, with a positive outlook and a good spirit of cooperation, we greatly appreciate the allowing of UA and some very small pieces of homebrew here and there but we'll settle for what we get, we're both very passionate about our characters and believe the best kind of game is one that sucks you in and makes you feel for it. (a side note from me personally, there's a difference between a good storyteller and a good Dungeon Master, EG. we don't want a game stuck on rails nor do we want a completely aimless sandbox, and god help you if it's westmarch XD) Any groups looking for new players that think you'd be a good fit for us, message me, any other players lacking a game that may want to band together and find a DM are also free to do the same. We're both commited and eager players that hate to miss sessions and only do so when life throws us a curveball so attendance is not a problem, we eagerly await the call to adventure :)
