[Interest Check] Rules-light, Supers gaming, Friday nights [6:30 PM PST]

I am thinking about starting up a supers game. The overall themes will likely be of the Bronze Age variety. I am happily rereading all my Chris Claremont stuff and watching 90s X-men cartoons just to get in the mood. We will either use FASERIP (free neoclone of Marvel Superheroes), Marvel Super Heroes (Advanced Set, no UPB), Icons Assembled or Supers! Red. All the systems seem good and have their pros and cons. I have physical copies of each and am enjoying reading over the rules. Character generation will be random regardless of the system. The power level will likely be of the X-men/Fantastic Four variety or just a tad beneath that. We will likely start August 10th or the 17th at around 6:30 pm PST and play for 3.5 to 4 hours. If anyone might be interested, please post below. Thanks!

I had a bit of interest so I will pursue this I think. I have settled on the system: Icons Assembled Edition with the Great Power supplement . The game is a fun mish mash of Fate and Marvel Super Heroes and it has quite a nice bit of support. There are quite a few optional rules that act as levers to tweak things a bit. After a few read throughs, this is what I am thinking the rules will be. We will likely start on August 17 and will do both character creation and start things going at the same time. Here is a link to the game page.

By default a link such as https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/1234567/s ... is only visible to players already in the game, and only Plus and Pro subscribers can make their games visible to the public , but even then people not in the game can not post to the forums. The best way to handle this situation is to create a Looking for Group listing ; even if you do not enable it for viewing in the LFG Directory you can share the link with others and have a separate Listing Discussion forum just for those potentially interested in your game. As a bonus, anyone who posts to your game's Listing Discussion forum will have a big blue button by their username and all a GM has to is click 'Invite to Game' and an invitation will be sent their way. I hope this helps, happy gaming! :)
