Player looking for d&d 4E dark fantasy

Semi experienced player looking for a dark fantasy setting 4th edition game, I'm open for almost anything, but would love to join a roleplay/story centered game that doesn't revolve around rescuing princesses and bringing peace to the kingdom of hyrule or whatever. Is there any DM out there who is looking to blur the lines between good and evil a bit, or any other players who might be interested in something on the darker side of things?

I run a few 3.5 edition games of many different types. Is 4th edition a requirement for you or would you be willing to tryout 3.5 with a somewhat dark and evil setting

I really dislike a lot of the mechanics in 3.5, as I personally feel it is incredibly restricting on how you can build your characters stats and skill pool, and as a reflection of that, how you can effectively roleplay the character. I'm fine with pathfinder, but 3.5 is just a game I personally don't get along well with. Thank you for offering though.
