[LFG] [5E] [LFDM] Th or F 9pm CDT *New Players*

I have a group of friends who would like to play DnD 5E. We hope to find a seasoned DM who can walk us through the basics of character creation, and everything else. For the most part I have the most experience playing TTRPGs with playing Lord of the Rings and DnD 3.5 however this has been at least 10 years since I have played anything other than munchkin if that even counts lol. Our group so far is a mixed bag of people.   We have a female erotic novelist.  Two male Marines. One a grunt the other a POG Reveran. A gamer Mom. IT Jalepeno Specialist. At any rate depending upon your services I would be willing to provide compensation ranging from overblown compliments to a few Washington’s.

I forgot to add we are looking for the session of play to be about two hours.

What time and dates are you guys thinking about. Marines huh? I was a Navy Corpsman with the grunts. If I do DM the game is free.

Is there any chance you'd be willing to play earlier in the day?  Unfortunately I can't really start a two hour game at 11pm at night, otherwise I'd be happy to teach you all.

What are you all looking for in a game? Are you looking for something more premade, like one of the adventure modules out there, or something homebrew? Are you wanting a more typical setting, such as the Sword Coast, or something more out there, like the Dark Sun-esque post-magical-apocalypse Talislanta, where tribals try to eke out a living in a dangerous, savage world?
