Good day and salutations, Me (age 25, M) and my partner (age 23, F) have a fascination with fantasy and the whole concept of RPGs and character development, played multiple RPGs and MMORPGs for a decade now, and recently we have begun playing Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO). We love the DnD world and have been looking at our local gaming cafes to see if any groups arise, but alas we have not seen any come up that have not been filled to the brim already and unable to take on new people. We recently returned from Germany (I am native UK, partner native German but incredibly fluent in English) where we played Descent: The Dark Below as a group and had the time of our lives, that and searching great DnD memes every day has really put the spark into us to want to meet new people and try something we never have before! To this end, we have signed up on Roll20 in hopes of finding a welcoming group to take our first step into a great new adventure! (Both the game itself and the social aspect!)3.5E we are probably most experienced in due to playing DDO, but really 3.5e, 5e, pathfinder, we are fans of the universe and the stories and options in characters available, not getting hung up on specific rule preferences! While lacking on intense knowledge we are well versed in the essentials and eager to learn the rest and have most importantly a great time with others. Happy to play any class/needed combination as it arises as we usually play multiple classes and characters in games anyway, for anyone willing to accommodate our lack of experience, we would definitely make up for it in eagerness and a friendly positive attitude, as we are all doing this to have a good time after all =) I work shifts rotating between a 9-4 one week and a 12-8 the week after then resetting each week Monday to Friday, and I will be starting the 9-4s next week commencing 30th July (UK time, GMT+0). Outside of these work times, we are very flexible and happy to make the time for someone who can do the same! Please feel free to reply here, or message me and we would be happy to talk at more length!
We have a mature, active community of players. We help players like yourselves learn how to use Roll20 every day. This Character Creation Workshop is a great way to get into character. I have a number of players who are gaming with their partners. Performing in character in front of someone who knows you all too well is intense! We have a number of techniques that can help break the ice as you transition from the digital world of DDO to the analog world of a pen and paper DM on Roll20. The Character Creation Workshop is scheduled at different times of the week. If you are interested in playing, you can setup a character sheet and talk to someone on Discord most times of the day. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/123709/character-creation-workshop
I’m looking for people to play 5e, Saturdays 3 pm cst.
I have a game starting to day called the Last hope of the Dwarfs https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/125210/last-hope-of-the-dwarfs Two Years ago a great number of undead appeared from which they came we know not. They formed into legions an attacked the great city's in coordinated strikes.By the time any resistance could be organized most of the great city's had fallen an those who managed to repel the first assault where under siege. We where forced back time an time again till we reached the last bastion of Northhaven where we decided to make are last stand. As we dug into the mountain side ready to fight to the last the undead pulled back. That was 3 months ago now supplies are running low an we seek brave adventures to venture out to collect information an resources. Are you willing to answer the last call of the Dwarfs. Long campaign starting at lvl 3 played twice weekly Tuesdays an Thursdays starting at 7-8 CDT
@Dr Frank Thank you for doing the session 0 with me, shame further scheduling is having a bit of issues but wanted to address you in this post as well. @Free Radikal I sent you a PM so we can talk details and see if it would be a good fit =) @Big Z Bear Really want to thank you for getting back to me in this thread, sadly 7-8CDT would be in the very early hours of the morning for us here in the UK, almost 4am start time, we just cannot reasonably do that. Thank you still for trying to include us! :) If anyone else sees the thread, we are still searching for a somewhat static group option, please feel free to PM me or message here! Weekends or around 2-4pm USA start times are a good availability time as well as what is detailed in my post!
