Looking for GM and Players for a good 3.5e game

Relatively new to 3.5 edition (a little over a year) and wanted to try and get people for a game. It would have to be either Friday or Saturday evening (UTC-5). I look forward to your replies. :)
I would like to join.
I can dig some 3.5... any restrictions on splatbooks?
The GM will have to decide that I guess
I am keen for this, for Saturday, guessing that would be Sunday my time for timezones.
I'm up for joining up, depending on the setting, materials allowed, level and time; generally prefer Saturday.
Alright, now I guess only a GM is needed.
I've been playing 3.5e for over a decade and can play a character of just about any class if you have room for it.
That would depend on the GM. I would be fine with 6 though.
4 Person party is the Ideal number normally since, the more players in the party the more chances of people accidently talking over another and such, 5 is pretty managable to, I dont recommend 6.
It's true, 6 and up can become a little chaotic unless you have a solid group. But if you manage 6 solid players, well, no such thing as too much healing and it's never a waste to have another trap finder
Except nobody should have to play a healbot, when wands can do the job just as well, if not better.
Clerics arent all that bad to play actually they get some fun spells that arent healing, Hell they can blind people permently at level 5.
Clerics are probably one of the most powerful classes in the game; however, saying "there's no such thing as too much healing" is basically saying, "well, if you have another cleric, you have another healbot", when in fact the Cleric has better things to do most of the time than heal.
True he could of worded it better, but is still a valid statement, some times there are situations you will run into where one healer does not have the power to keep the party up (granted thats the time you consider if you should be still fighting such things.)

At low levels, all it takes to drop most characters is one solid hit, and at high levels, damage outpaces healing so significantly the only healing spell capable of doing much good is Heal, so at no point is in-combat healing ever useful except for stabilizing dying allies who can't stabilize on their own, and even that can be accomplished with a Heal check. Plus, cure spells, which can be spontaneously converted into, have a range of touch, so to heal somebody who's been dropped in melee means the cleric will have to wade into the thick of it as well.

I always cap games at 6 players, beyond that the "noise to signal ratio" is too high.
3.5 Pally with Righteous Lay on Hands is Definitely a good way to not have someone healbotting.

Righteous Lay on Hands is homebrew material, and anybody with the Cleric or Druid spell list and a wand of Lesser Vigor is a better healer than that.
I was just giving some for instances earlier. Any solid player can contribute to any campaign with any class if they know what they're doing.
Can I get in on this? Bored on a Thursday night with plenty of experience. I have skype, webcam, mic, whatever is necessary. I can even make a character on the quick.
