Hey all! I've recently been invited to test drive the new Savage Tokusatsu rules with my group, but unfortunately one of our players dropped out and now we could really use a replacement. Currently I'm only looking for one player who's at least 21 years old. Though I might take on an additional player if enough people with really cool ideas apply. For those of you not familiar with the tokusatsu genre, think shows like Power Rangers. When We play every other week on Sunday at around 18:00-19:00 UTC +2. Session zero, during which we'll make characters and do a bit of world building, will be on Sunday the 12th of August. How Naturally the game will be played here on Roll20. Please take note that I'll most likely be recording all of these sessions to put on our Youtube channel: Radio Multiverse. I need to stress to only apply for this game if you have a decent quality mic. A webcam is not really necessary. Any prior game knowledge is also not necessary. Two of our members, which includes me, are LGBT. Also, I have a zero tolerance policy against anyone showing signs of racism, sexism or homophobia. What Here's the pitch! The game will be called Mighty Prism Patrol and I think the easiest way to describe it is a mix between Power Rangers and Sailor Moon. The Prism Patrol is an all-female, intergalactic peace keeping force that has recently come to Earth to recruit some new members and to defend the planet from the many threats that would seek to enslave it. Being set in the near future you will be playing a teenager going to school in an international high school and some time ago you were recruited by the leader of the Prism Patrol, Lady Prisma, for your special talents and/or fighting skills, to help defend the Earth. When we will be starting our game you will already have successfully completed "season 1" of Mighty Prism Patrol and your first major enemy faction has been defeated, a faction that all the players will cooperatively create during session zero. You've had a pretty peaceful live ever since, but then six months later, a new threat rears its ugly head: The Shadox Empire! Under the leadership of the ruthless and cunning Emperor Eclipsion, they have come to Earth to replenish their dwindling energy supply. But in doing so they will inevitably drain Earth of all of its natural resources and leave it a barren husk! Naturally the Prism Patrol will need to pick up arms once more, find new power-ups and bigger and better mechs, to defeat the evil Shadox Empire before it's too late! (A more lengthy pitch with more story details can be found here! ) Current Roster Here's what our current players have decided on playing: Prism Green: Mosahiko Saeko. The captain of the local kendo club. She's a pretty strict and bossy girl who thinks she's the best. Prism Purple: Elizabeth Drake. A high class British girl with a very caring personality who is studying to be a nurse. Prism Blue: Melvin Swift. A smart and mysterious transfer student who's good with technology. He's the only male Prism Patroller and is kind of the "Sixth Ranger" of the game. The colours that are still up for grabs are red, orange and yellow.
