Have token name match the uploaded file name?

Just wondering if there was a way to have tokens auto-fill their name field with the name of the.png file used?

There is not.  Even the API would not be able to do this as the name of the image file is not used for storing the file (though it is in a tag).  If you're interested in the API being able to do this for you, there is a suggestion thread about the API having access to Tags that you can up vote.
