Hi! Schedule Soooo... I'm kinda nerfing my succes in finding groups by having a baby :) You see, baby-math dictates fairly strict playtimes so I'm looking for any group that plays between 19:00-23:00 CES (GMT+2) because that's when my little girl goes to bed and I have some me-time to fill in. Prefer Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and can do any frequency, weekly/monthly/whatever. With that out the way, allow me to introduce myself! Tim, 32yr male, studied geology, ended up in IT, close to getting married and like to paint, travel, game & go out. I have a monthly real-life pathfinder group and we've been going steady for a couple of years. Holidays and busy schedules make it difficult to plan sessions at the moment so I'm looking into Roll20 to get my RP fix and slightly up the frequency of this particular hobby. I used to play D&D Online for many years so I'm most familiar with 3.5 rules and moving into Pathfinder was a natural and welcome transition. D&D 5E looks interesting too so I wouldn't mind diving into that some more. Also enjoyed the shadowrun games on PC so even that would be fine. Characters and Style I've played campaigns as a Druid, a Bard and currently our group is working through the Runelords campaign where I am Barky, the Gnoll Monk. I'm basically the party's pet dog lol. Anyway, I like to fill up whatever role the party is missing and usually build well-rounded, optimized but not OP characters. I try to work WITH the party and enjoy myself most in a game where teamwork gets us the prize. Needless to say I dislike one-man-shows where that one player demands all the attention. In terms of RP to Combat ratio I like an equal mix of both. In situations where discussions go on and on I am usually one to push for a resolution in consensus while keeping everyone happy and moving forward. I dislike strict rules-lawyers but do think gamerules should be obeyed. However, it's OK to ask for DM permission on exceptions if you think it'll make the game more interesting. I like to keep things light, love a good joke and don't get easily offended. I think it's important to have respect for everyone at the table but dislike that one person that always gets agitated fast and frequently. I plan on putting effort into creating macro's etc to speed things along but I am new to Roll20 so I might ask for some hints here and there. LET ME KNOW IF ALL THIS SOUNDS GOOD SO I CAN STOP TYPING IN CAPS OUT OF PURE EXCITEMENT AND ANTICIPATION AND START ROLLING UP A FRICKIN CHARACTER ALREADY!!! WOOO! (seriously, hit me up if you play around 19-23 CES and can use another body in your game)
