Custom Map Import Bug

There seems to be a major bug issue with custom imported maps. With Firefox, every time I switch between a custom imported map & a Roll20 map (e.g. asset map), I can no longer edit any tokens or map tiles, & am forced to refresh my window to regain my editing ability..... but Firefox runs Roll20 the smoothest (of the browsers I've tried). Chrome is much choppier (in lag & frame rates), but I don't have to refresh my browser when switching between maps........... but there's another VERY irritating problem in both browsers. EVERY time I import a png map into Roll20, I get this bizarre "lighting-like circle" in the middle of my map that I CANNOT remove. If I upload a jpg, the circle isn't there, but when I try to use dynamic lighting for my players, instead of a nice, smooth, circular reveal (as I see in every "asset map"), the imported maps will only reveal in "square blocks" (like a "pixelated reveal"). What is going on????

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the site. Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log, starting from table loadin and progressing through some exampes of the behavior you're reporting!) Thank you!

It is most definitely a bug of some sort. I tried uploading a PNG & JPG of the same map, & both generate the same problem. Secondly, I downloaded a "fresh" browser (one I've never used before, thus, no cache & no addons, etc.), & still ran into the same problem. In addition, I tried to upload a GIF & got a "broken link" icon, which wouldn't even allow me to import the map to a new page. One of my players sent me an image of what his screen looked like, as well (this image, btw, is the same map I posted in my first post). (*edit -- I'm not sure I can directly upload the image..... the forum is giving me a hard time by giving me an "infinite loading" loop, every time I try to upload the image. Update... no matter how many times I tried, the forum would not let me attach the image below to this post... so I had to upload it in its own post. Additionally, I'm now in the process of creating a bug report. One of the key features my players & I were interested in using the Pro version for was using our own maps, but seeing as how this isn't currently possible, we don't have a lot of incentive to keep the Pro account. Hopefully this bug can be addressed soon).

Computer Settings >> Windows 7 (64-bit) >> 360 Total Security (have tried importing maps with my Anti-Virus both deactivated & uninstalled, both with the same results) >> 1360x768 Resolution (have also tried my other monitors, e.g. 1600x1200, & 3840x2160, all with the same results) >> Chrome, Firefox, IE, & Opera; all up to date (tried them all, with the same results, & Opera was installed fresh, with the same results) >> 24-bit color depth >> JS Enabled >> Macromedia-Flash (not installed on Chrome, which is what I'm currently using; other browsers have flash, with the same results) >> Cookies (enabled) >> No images added, as they are already part of this thread >> I will capture (& later add to this thread) a copy of my game's log after I attempt to import another image
