The Idea is, to have the library available even outside of games / campaigns. The reason for this is, that if you upload a picture it is saved in the library and thus takes space. It does not even matter if you upload a picture twice, it is still saved. This way, if you want to upload something like a logo or whatever for your campaign (like the Arcane Codex Logo for instance) and let's say a few months later, you open up another AC campaign and want to use the same logo there, you have to upload it again. Other example: Profile Picture. If you want / have to change your profile picture / photo for a specific campaign and later want to switch back, you have to upload that photo yet again because you can not search your library for it and just drag&drop it inside the Avatar field...
