VIKINGS A brutal, combat oriented campaign using modified Pathfinder rules for wounds and weapon/armor wear. Modified weapons list and capped at 8th level. Open world ; murder the ocal petty king and raid traders to establish a kingdom, I won't stop you. You don't need to know the system (Pathfinder homebrew), I'll take care of everything for you. Experienced GM . I've run countless campaigns on roll 20 and put a ton of work into my campaigns Authentic map of Scandinavia, with correct details from the start of the viking age. You'll see towns as they were at the time. Session Details: Time: Weekly, fridays at 7 pm GMT+1 (Norwegian time)
System : Pathfinder Homebrew, resticted classes, custom rules for wounds instead of HP, DR instead of AC, item degradation, etc. You don't need to know any of the rules, we'll take care of it for you. Fun always takes priority over rules . It's highly unlikely that a viking survives enough battles to make above the level cap, which is 8. Beyond that point, you gain skills, feats, etc. The focus of the game will be to gain resources, plunder, and to expand your influence. Session style : Realistic. No magic, no supernatural powers. You're generally as weak or strong as everyone else. Setting You start out as
peasants from a small village/town in the Kingdom of Vestfold, on the
border to
Sweden. Eventually, you may choose to raid neighboring kingdoms, rob
traders, steal from farmers, or settle a village and begin trading; your
destiny is entirely up to you. Either way, this is going to be a
brutal, violent and realistic setting. Vestfold is under the rule of
petty king Halvdan Øysteinsson, and you've been summoned from your
village to bolster his forces. Your company of men could choose to
defect (as soldiers often did), or rise through the ranks in hope of one
day becoming king. I'm looking for up to 5 players.
