New DM LFP 2-3 for future Numenera campaign. GMT+0 New players only!

This will be my first time DM'ing and the campaign is still in development. Right now there are 2-3 people confirmed. This is going to be heavily based on roleplaying, as opposed to combat. I would say about 70-75% of the time spent playing will be roleplay. The campaign will be faily open-world, using the traditional (and very unique) Ninth World setting. Where to go and what to do will almost always be the player's choice. I'm looking for players that enjoy roleplaying and are able to roleplay the characters they build. Also, I want the players to put some effort into their characters backstory, since it helps establishing a reason for their behavior. If you enjoy a lot of combat when playing RPG's, please do not apply. You can do whatever you want with your characters appearance and backstory, because the setting itself allows it. Go crazy with it! Also, I'm looking for people new to RPG's. Players that have little to no experience are welcome here :) If you're a roleplayer with lots of experience, chances are you probably won't get a spot in the party. We already have enough experienced people to get the roleplaying going, and help new players go along with it. Schedule is still to be decided. While I'm not new to roleplaying (actually pretty seasoned), I've never played Numenera, I hear its like Fate (but I haven't played that either). Anyway, I'm interested, would love to try it out. just a few questions: What day/time is the game looking to be? What is the frequency (weekly, every other week, daily)? As I said, the schedule has not yet been decided. However there will be at least 1 session per week, every week :)

Also, we already have a woman in the group but I would like to have another one. I want the party to be as variable as possible. And it makes for good roleplaying!

*Update* Looking for players willing to play a class besides Nano (they're basically the "caster" class). You can play either Glaive or Jack.

I'm new to tabletop roleplaying, i have no idea what the setting is, unfamiliar with ninth world. I love the roleplaying aspect of games like this, battle is mainly luck anyway. i'm 23 year old male law student from belgium, i have between 4-10 hours of class each week so that won't be a problem, however on exam weeks i'm harder to shedule. other then that love to join

I'm new to this site and haven't played much DnD, but I LOVE Role Playing. Especially if I get to make my own, unique character. I am open on weekends as I am still in school, but I can stay on for most if not all of the weekend nights, like now. IF you're willing to have me, then by all means PM me.

I'm not completely new to roleplaying, but it has been a really long time (read, 20 years) since I have really played (a few sessions of a d&d 3.0 campaign about 10 years ago is it). I've been enjoying reading Numenera, and am very interested in learning the system. I can play any of the classes, and I am much more interested in making characters who lend to great stories than playing characters who are just great themselves. Let me know if you have room/interest! i am not a woman. Never thought I'd have to specify that explicitly in a conversation. But, there ya go. :) C. PS I am UTC-8, aka Pacific Time. So figuring out the schedule might make a difference. I can play at odd hours, but I may also have work to work around.
