My group of 7 is looking for a DM, our sixth one had to quit on us because of college now, so our only standard is that if you want to do it, please be able to do it consistently. Time is flexible and you are open to suggest a day and time for when it happens, and we are doing 5e. If we could continue the characters and story we were already doing that would be nice but we would be fine starting over, we've done it a ton in the last month.
