Expired Invite

I just got a message saying that the invite I received for a game had expired, but I never received an invite to begin with. I'm not sure if invites just expire super quick or if it's just that my invite glitched. Someone tell me what's going on, because it's frusterating! >:C
For context, this is what the message said: "A campaign invitation sent to you has expired, been canceled, or the campaign no longer exists."

I've pinged the Devs to have someone come explain in more detail, since only a Dev can explain :)

Hi Casey, Typically this can occur if someone was removed from the game after  an invite was sent. When someone is removed from the game it will create a new invite key so that the removed person cannot re-join by using the old invite key. We can only recommend that you try to contact who you believe may have sent the invite and ask for a new one to be sent out.
