Better zoom controls

Please include a marquee, dynamic and "hand" zoom, just like the ones you'd see in Adobe Reader or acrobat. The zoom control as it stands is limited and sort of clunky. I would really like to be able to zip around the current map a lot better. Using the mouse scroll wheel for dynamic zoom would be a neat idea. Maptools does this well, so I know you guys can implement that!
Also, for some reason, the current zoom functionality doesn't work right for me under Chrome for Linux (I know, probably not your highest priority, and probably something specific around here, but just putting my 2 cents in for something more).
The chrome/linux issue is a known bug but I'll add another report to it :) I'll also make sure the additional zoom options are considered.
I would love if the zoom feature had a higher magnification. Perferably ~300-500% since all the image I am using are vector and scale proportionaly

+1 to this.
I would like the ability to fix the zoom slightly due to some zoom percentages revealing more areas of the map. For some reason 20% doubles the height of the map making a door that would lead to another map lead to a blank space, which has actually confused my players on more then one occasion.

David, could you elaborate on '20% doubles the height of the map'? It sounds like a bug. Perhaps by providing a screenshot? - Gauss
Yes, a slider would be awesome vs. the three clicks now. Additionally, if you could "force" the zoom to other players much like you do with the "zoom to ping" feature for the DM, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!
I whole-heartedly agree with this notion. When hopping through zoom levels there is currently no decent centering. I would love a mouse or dynamic zoom. Also, "zoom to ping" would be FANTASTIC!
Forcing my zoom level is a bad idea, pinging the spot and letting me zoom or not zoom is how it should be.
Just because it's bad for you doesn't mean it would be for everyone. Some of us would have use for it, others wouldn't. It shouldn't be the standard for "pinging" a spot though. (so that GMs who don't want to use it can go on happily using it without the zooming bit)
The capability of the GM(s) being able to temporarily adjust the zoom level of the Roll20's pages he/she is sharing with his players was discussed at lenght at: http://goo.gl/HF1PY
