Major Dynamic Lighting (& forum) Bug

OK.... I've tried both Chrome & Firefox (both with & without plugins), & a fresh copy of Opera (which I've never used before).... & all with cookies / cache cleared, etc.. I've tried both importing maps (which I thought this bug was limited to), & also official Roll20 maps (e.g. marketplace maps), which also have this bug (as seen below -- the first 4 pics). And to add to this bug report, I regularly get an "endless spinning wheel" on my forum posts whenever I upload images to your site (specifically when I try to upload more than 1 image at a time), & have to refresh my screen (e.g. also make sure I save what I type before this happens), causing me to lose whatever I had typed up to that point, & not saved (e.g. the 5th pic is a screenshot of me typing this very post, & running into that bug).  I'm running: Windows 7 Ultimate Chrome (newest update:  Version 68.0.3440.106   ) Firefox (newest update.... it's not open, so I'm not sure which build ver) Opera (fully updated b/c it was a fresh download: now uninstalled, b/c it didn't change anything in the Roll20 map bug) Both Chrome & Firefox are using Adblock Plus & the Great Suspender (that's it.... both of which have been disabled in tests, with no change)
Sorry... but after 3 attempts at loading multiple images on a single post, & getting the "endless spinning symbol", I have to separate the screenshots into different posts.

Last post (not posting all 5 pics, as originally planned, due to this forum issue).... but here's the forum bug I've encountered when trying to upload more than one pic at a time.
On issue 2, this is a known problem. Frankly I'm amazed that you were able to post pictures at all; how many tries did it take? There's a forum in the Bugs section about this. TLDR version is "Yeah we know. We're working on it." Issue 1 is a little less clear... what are we looking at? You're on the maps layer with what looks like a terrain tile at small size, emitting light as a token. Or at least with vision, hard to tell. There also looks to be a character token set up similarly. What is the bug? The map should be expanded on the map layer, but shouldn't itself emit light or have vision. Shouldn't even be a token, should be just an image (set by right-clicking then 'advanced') The token should have vision, that not all player see (unless they do), and should be on the token layer. more pictures please!

Yes... that's exactly the prob..... maps (even on the "map layer") are producing light as though they are a token (although, it just dawned on me that I haven't tried setting the map as a token, disabling any / all light it may have or produce, then changing it back to a map layer.... this seems tedious & unnecessary, but may be needed, if this remains a persistent bug). As requested, I'll post a couple of more pics. (NOTE -- I explicitly posted the pic showing I was on the map layer to demonstrate that this phenomenon was happening even on the map layer).
Not sure why that's happening, but yeah, give that a try. Move it to the token layer, check settings, turn everything off. Make sure it's an image, not a token. Move it back to the map layer. Should fix it. If it happens for every new image from your library, something is off. That's not normal behavior, I think. Good luck.
OK............. so here's what I've done. I copied my game file over to a "new" file, renamed it, then deleted the old game, & things seem to be working as they should now. I had other strange things happening with that game that other Pro players, & dev members, couldn't figure out either... so maybe the entire game file had gotten corrupted somehow??? In any event, if anyone stumbles onto this REALLY bizarre, & infuriating, bug, I recommend copying what I did to fix it. It's not what I'd call an ideal solution, but it seems to have worked for now. I'll update this issue (likely under a new topic / post, if this one gets closed) if it occurs again.

In your game settings page, you can set defaults for all tokens in a game. One of the defaults you can set is emits light and has sight. Any image that is put on the tabletop is considered a token for this purpose. I would guess that your previous game had a default emits light setting for all tokens.
Thanks for your added input, Scott.
