About us: Dungeons and Dragons 5E. We have 2 campaigns running simultaneously at this time and our Sunday crew is good, but our Wednesday campaign had a bad hiccup as disagreements and drama happened and we have new openings. Our Wednesday crew meets at 7 pm central. We have a newly built company which is in a renaming situation as we move away from our former group's main influences. We're willing to host a Session 0 live on Twitch, which airs at www.twitch.tv/chaoticcalling The idea of this recruitment is to find about 3 more suitable players who get along well and could integrate into a story that's already deeply developed. This would be like an interview situation to join an Adventuring Company that works as a co company for the main city's Adventure Guild Chapter. Currently in the main party is a Mastermind halfing rogue and a totem barbarian halfing. They are the soul survivors of the company as story pulls out the threads to those who have left us. You find yourself greeted by a guild officer who reads over your application. He stares about the empty guild hall and turns his attention to you once more as he pulls out a gemstone that will act as a certification of your joining the guild. He lifts up the paper as information from the it is extracted in some magical way into the gemstone that is then handed to you. "Now that this business is done, I am inclined to suggest an avenue for those who seem somewhat more seasoned. There's company's that are already created in our city and I heard one is reforming their ranks. They are looking to increase their ranks with similar seasoned adventurers. I shall direct you to one Baar Willowhollow who's currently the Chief Finance officer. " "Now you might ask why can't I just pick a job and go on it, it's just simply better to be a part of a company who acquires jobs on a more lucrative benefit. So I suggest you prepare for an interview of sorts." You are then given an address and a means to be introduced as one of the servants of the guild will go and make them known to the company. Rules for character building: Vague. Be Vague till you get fully approved for the campaign. Keep towns and cities loose ended. You can describe the size of a town but don't give any names. You can name your family for the most part but I'd hate to have you waste too much character building to be turned down. Also keep in mind that your character shouldn't be a Veteran... Part of the problems we had before was having characters who were already in power but forced to start over and rebuild into power which feels so fake. So no aged background that would make you seem more powerful then you actually will be at this point in the game. Your race choices are limited to all the PHB options and Aasamar which are known as Seraphim's in this campaign. We are currently only using PHB and Xanathar's guide to everything. No homebrew or unearthed arcana. If our campaigns finish we might start new ones with more resources. Lets keep it simple for now and slowly build on it as time progresses. Our 2 campaigns are happening at the same time, so it would be nice if you took time to watch Sunday's campaigns to find out hidden backstory in other regions of the world. The main plot twist is that when we get to the End Game there might be a co-op meeting of both campaign parties joining together to take out a big bad in the future. So it would be nice to have fun and easy to get along with folks to restore our Wednesday. Basis: Our current campaign level is 5. You can start by rolling up a level 5 character. Rolls for stats must happen with me around so you'll ask me to create your character sheet and I'll witness your rolls. You could use Charactermancer if you want but if you use my rules, you will roll 4d6 and top 3. If you roll a 1 you can reroll it. If you roll 4 1's re roll the dice and you must take second rolls. Thanks for taking time to read this post, contact me on Discord, our main voice chat source at Starwind#7425 Let me know in a direct message you're inquiring on the Wednesday Campaign that's taking place at 7 pm central time (<- time and day in post, so please don't say you can't join on that day :P) Depending on how many apply, we'll be taking time during a Session 0 Interview to go over what your character looks like, what their demeanor is. This isn't an evil campaign. So keep in mind that conflicting evil characters will present an initial problem. I'll have DM questions that I'll try to ask before the session 0 to make sure we get along and then I'll feed you to my players to see if you can get along. So don't be shy and let me know.
