There's a new update out today, mainly adding Google+ Hangout support! We're very excited to offer this additional option, which many of you requested via the forums and the survey. Here's a help article that should get you up to speed on how to use it: http://help.roll20.net/playing-in-google-plus/ Obviously there may be new bugs that are introduced while playing in Google+, so be sure to let us know if you or your players experience any issues in G+ that they aren't experiencing when using the normal Roll20 interface.
Wow ... that is pretty. We're supposedly playing tonight so we'll give this a try.

This is really awesome, Riley. Having the second option should give a lot of us peace of mind when trying to get going. Also, since I am one of those folks who uses Google Docs a lot, this just made it plausible to link in files I already use as handouts, in addition to those handouts made explicitly within Roll20. That is a -major- perk, since gDocs has had years to develop its interface. Takes some of the edge off. As always, thanks for the hard work. :)
Excellent! I have been waiting for this.
Thanks for all the kind words, everyone!

I ran my D&D game yesterday with the new Hangout interface. The video lag was much lower, but the video quality was also a bit lower and the G+ interface wastes quite a bit of screen real estate around the top and bottom edges. I think it's a good trade though because latency is key to a smooth game. My players also thought the video/mic settings were much easier to adjust in G+.
