[LFG][5e] Flexible Story Driven Player

Looking for a game to join! I always seem to be the DM for my friends and would like to actually play! A long-term campaign that's focused on the story is what I'm interested in. Playing modules arn't really my cup of tea. I love homebrews! Not a big fan of rule lawyers... Id rather just enjoy the game and keep things fair.  Mature games are a must. As an adult, I'm not comfortable playing with minors.  Joining an already established party is fine, and I'm also more than happy to work with the DM to make a character that fits into the party well.  I'm on Pacific Standard Time and my schedule is flexible and ever-changing. I work as a nanny so some weeks I may be entirely free, and other weeks I will be entirely unavailable, just give me 2 weeks notice and I can usually arrange something! Sundays and Mondays are entirely unavailable though. Sorry! As an added bonus I'm an artist... ssooo campaign doodles are highly likely to occur!

Hi there! I've had a roleplay-heavy, story-focused campaign in the works for some time now, and I've been looking for players who would hopefully enjoy that kind of game and be a good fit for a group before starting "open recruitment" (which seems to draw a lot of people who are looking for just any game and who may or may not be very reliable or committed). To me, the group and overall tone of the game (combat emphasis vs. roleplay emphasis, silly vs. serious, etc.) are more important than the specific ruleset, so that's why I'm hoping to get some like-minded people together so we can start discussing some more specifics about what kind of game would be preferred. So let me know if you have any other details about the kind of game you'd most like to play, or if you'd like some more information about what I have in mind so far, let me know! And in the meantime I'll keep looking for other story driven players so hopefully we can get a great campaign going ^^

  I'd be interested in a heavy story and RP game. Combat is fun but if it's non-stop it gets old always searching for healing. Please keep me posted on if one gets started. I'm usually one to make a character with a certain flaw like half orc that hates his tusks, or a human barb thats been mauled so badly he always keeps a leather mask on. Or a druid that has to talk to all animals, even to ones trying to eat him.
