LFG Experienced Lorehound, fairly new to RPGs (Warhammer 40k)

Hey, I'm Ryan and i'm looking to join a 40k RPG Rogue Trader, Dark Heresy, Only War, Black Crusade or Deathwatch is perfectly fine... I'll post here my character concept for an Imperial Guard Marksman which can be used for Dark Heresy, Only War or Black Crusade for the other two i'm more than happy to make a new character. My timezone is UTC +1 although, if you are in the US i do tend to stay up fairly late so i can do US times somewhat well unless you are in Washington State or Far West Coast... Volx Halcar, 5 ' 10, Medium length Raven hair that seems to be caked in grime and quite unkempt, has a fairly narrow nose and ghostly grey eyes that seem lifeless. His most notable feature is the two slash mark scars that cross the front part of his top lip at a diagonal to his bottom lip and it's mirrored on the other side looking like a cross covering his lips. He originally hailed from the world of Tanith in Segmentem Pacificus and was a part of Tanith's First and Only Imperial Guard regiment. He was assigned to Fourth Platoon Scout company under the leadership of Scout-Sergeant Oan Mkoll... Unusually, he was one of the few scouts that stayed within the Fourth platoon and was not assigned to any other platoon until Gereon where he was hand selected by Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt himself for his skill at 'Graveyarding'. This act entailed members of the Fourth Platoon usually those who are dedicated snipers to comb the battlefield in search for traitors hiding amongst the corpses and to execute the cowards pretending to be dead, this was a gruesome job and it would lead to Volx suffering from mental trauma but also honouring him with the nickname "The Vulpine" after the Terran Fox for his ability to scavenge the battlefield. Volx very much was an unremarkable member of the Fourth Platoon and was mostly unnoticed by his comrades. He was said to be quite stoic and withdrawn almost shy and was very secretive about revealing any information about himself. One of his squadmates reportedly told of a time where he tried to get 'chummy' with Volx and ended up getting a black eye. After that incident he was left well enough alone except when he was given orders by the Sergeant. When he was picked to join the mission to take back Gereon in a rare moment of openness he showed his enthusiasm and graciously accepted Ibram's offer. During the Siege of Gereon he was tasked the duty of scouting enemy positions and making sure the path was clear for the rest of the men and was part of a squad of 5 other scouts of the Fourth Platoon. They end up getting ambushed in a heavily forested area at night by the Archenemy and the 4 other men of his squad end up missing he then later finds two bodies of his former squadmates crucified to a tree with the words carved into their chests 'FEEL US'. This nearly broke his mind however, he was able to get together the mental clarity to see a figure off in the distance and he was able to take a Longlas shot that managed to scorched off the shadowy traitor's right eye. Enraged, the traitor screams and flings Volx into a nearby tree and he loses consciousness. When he awakes he finds that his lips are bloody and he has been stripped down to his loincloth bearing his many tribalistic blue tattoos, a voice calls out to him and says 'Will it submit?'. Volx replies 'If only you take this fucking pain away...' From there on he became one of the most devoted to the Anarch's cause and joins the Sons of Sek not much is known during the battle but, after the Imperials had won he manages to slip undetected with a grey cloak covering his once proud tribal markings on a civilian craft where he ends up joining local pirate fleets and doing some minor raids on nearby Imperial Worlds... Until he heeds the call.. (This is where i tie it into the story of the campaign if i get accepted to join) This originally was made for a Black Crusade game but, it ended up filling so i wasn't able to get in... If the game is on the Imperial side i can always change the character's backstory where he ends up getting saved by a Sergeant of the Fourth Company after a battle with the Traitor in which his lips get ritualistically cut and he bares the mark of the Anarch for the rest of his life without his knowledge. By the end of the campaign he just ends up getting deployed to another squad as would normally happen within the Scout Platoon anyway so it'd be easy to write in.  About me, I can be quite prickly at times and i'm too honest for my own good which often means groups go down in two ways for me. I either get on really well with the group or I end up getting ostracised and kicked out because, i upset too many people. Honestly, if you want to get to know me first you can add my discord which is Velheimdallr#5744 that's the best way to contact me anyway and i prefer voice so if you are text based or running a text based campaign then take that as an automatic no from me i'm not interested. Either way i hope to develop my personal skills in self discipline as i tend to be very flakey and i want to try and improve that by sticking to something for a while and why not a PnP RPG where the commitment isn't too much. Thanks for Reading!
