Interest Check: The Narrative Game System (NGS) 1-shot play-test

Hello Fellow Gamers, If you would be interested in playing a short, 1-shot play-test of a new RPG, please let me know - I would like to GM this and see how it works. Here are the details: Date: Thursday, 2/27/14 Time : 7:00pm-11:00pm EST Number of Players: 2-6 Genre: "Underworld" movie universe (action-horror) Premise (Googling the movie plots will help you understand this part): The player characters are former members of Alexander Corvinus' "clean-up" squad that decided to become vampires or Lycans after Alexander's death in order to gain the powers for use as an elite team of mercenaries (now that they were unemployed). Years later, in 2015, the Purge crusade (humans wiping out vampires and Lycans) is raging across the globe so they want to find the legendary Vampire Elder doomsday shelter to ride out the storm. RPG Rules : The Narrative Game System (NGS). It is a rules-light RPG with a simple die mechanic and narrative focus. Type "NGS" in the search field in kickstarter, com for more details. I am supporting the game so I have the quick-start rules that will be used. Character Creation: This must be done cooperatively, but it starts with each player writing an approximately 100-word description of their PC. This should be done before the game begins to save some time. Players are either vampires or Lycans, but were otherwise born and raised somewhere here on Earth and at some point began working for Alexander. They probably had a background in the military, law enforcement, espionage, or some other profession that would make sense. Including a little bit on the PCs current personality would be helpful. The rest of the process will occupy the first 30 minutes or so of the session. Thank you, Laz
I'm interested. Message me the details and I'll get back to you with a character.
Hello Fashmilk, The only thing needed ahead of time is a 100-word description of your PC using the details in my first post. It should include the PC name, race, life history, visual description, and personality. With the word limit, only the important stuff is worth writing down. The rest of the process has to be done as a group - which seems quite unique. Hopefully, we'll get one more player so we can test this RPG out. Thank you so much, Laz
Are we doing it through Roll20 chat?
Hello Fashmilk, that was the plan, but it's 5-minutes to 7pm EST and we don't have another player. :( i'll send you a PM if I convince a friend to try this game out later this week or next. Thank you for trying, Laz
