Looking for 2-3 players interested in playing Vampire : The Masquerade. Players need to be mature, open-minded, respectful, willing to roleplay and interested in a mix of action and intrigue. (Players who are not familiar with the Vampire rules are welcome as well as experienced players) I am available to play on week nights only (tues/wed/thurs from 7pm to midnight or so). I am in the EST time zone (GMT -5). Expect games to range from 3 to 4 hours and happen every other week. I am an experienced DM (mostly for Vampire & DnD), but this will be my first game in English (French is my first language). Looking to go a bit out of my comfort zone with this game, but I don't expect it to be a problem (aside from my accent, my English is pretty good). ----- Setting for the game : It will take place in Milwaukee, in the year 2000. The City is at the center of many problems (and opportunities). The Prince has recently been killed. Anarch gangs control some parts of the city and are in constant conflict amongst themselves and with many of the elders. Werewolves frequently try to enter the city and are barely kept out by a dedicated group of vampires. The Sabbat has an eye on the city and may be willing to take advantage of the internal conflicts to act. The characters can be part of the Camarilla, the Sabbat, an Anarch gang or be Independant (altho they will likely have to pick a side sooner or later). Characters will need to have some kind of common goal to keep them together. This could be anything like: - Being a Sabbat pack trying to take control of the city, - Fighting off the werewolves encroaching on the city, - Trying to ascend to power in the chaos created by the Prince's death, - Beating back the anarch threat, - Fighting off or preventing the Sabbat from gaining a foothold in the city, - Hunting targets for either of the groups at each others' throat, - Simply banding together to have better chances of surviving in such a dangerous context. - Anything else that is a strong enough motivation to keep the group united. Basically, if the group has no common goal, unproductive conflicts may arise and I want to avoid that. (The occasional argument or conflict is fine, but holding a grudge in or out of game is not...) Furthermore, I don't want the players to run off in separate directions at every opportunity. In other words ---> Either be a team player or do not bother joining the game. ----- Only apply if you are comfortable with all of the things mentioned.

For anyone who would like more information, feel free to ask here or message me in private. Game will be held over skype (mic is required, but webcam is optional). Players unfamiliar with the rules are welcome (they are quite easy to get used to).
I would be interesting in playing in a Sabbat pack if thats on the table still. Are you using V20 or one of the older systems?
Hello Martin. Your times are perfect for my friend and I. We're currently trying out nWoD, so I'm assuming the rules are somewhat similar, yes? We're both experienced roleplayers, though we aren't super familiar with Vampire. We have played it before years ago, though I'm not sure if this is a different rule set.

Hello Shah and Outlaw, Shah: The possibility of playing a sabbat pack is on the table as long as all the players are willing to go for that. That would have to be discussed and agreed upon, just like any other starting objectives, but I am definitely open to it. The rules that I am familiar with are the rules from the revised version of Vampire the Masquerade published in 1999 (WW2300, the book with a red rose on the cover). These are the rules that I intend to use for the moment since I am familiar with them. For Outlaw: I'm not familiar with the new world of darkness rules in details, but the basic concept remains quite similar from what I can understand. In any case, the detailed rules aren't what is really important to me. I am open to small changes that benefit the game (either adding more flexibility or rewarding creativity from players), but I am not willing to learn a whole new system at this time, I much prefer spending the time that I have available to prepare interesting plots and encounters.
Alright. I'm pretty sure those are the same rules that my friend and I used the last time we played years ago. All I can vividly remember was the Technocracy from the Mage rules. Anyways, my friend and I would prefer Tuesdays if at all possible, though Wednesday isn't out of the question. That is, if you have room for both of us.
I'd like to join if possible. Your time frame works fine for me on Wednesdays. Do you allow other races like Were-spiders?

Hello Chris, I think the game will happen on tuesdays and no, I would most likely not allow were-spiders.
Tuesday works fine. If I can't be a were I will most likely play a Ravnos.
I can do tuesdays, if there's still room, and a Sabbat game would be fine with me.
I would be interested in playing - if it was a Sabbat game, I've always wanted to play a Tzimisce scientist. As far as V20 goes, it's basically the same as the rules you're familiar with, but with refined rules (ie, V:tM 2.0). Celerity, for example, makes you spend 1 bp per extra action, but gives you a flat bonus to dex based actions at other times. Tuesday or Thursday would be best for me.
I would be interested in playing, if you dont mind teaching a new player. While I have gone over the rules (not sure if using the right edition), I would still need some guidance atleast for the 1st session or so.

Hi everyone, First of all, thanks to all for your interest in the game. Currently I have more people interested than spots for players, so I will obviously not be able to add everyone to the game. I am talking with 3 potential players and checking their interest level, schedule and all that. If some players turn out to not be able to join (for one reason or another), I will contact people who mentioned their interest here to fill up the free spots. For now, if you have not yet been contacted by PM, you should not get you hopes up. I will contact people if/when spots become available. Good luck to everyone with your games!
