Hey yall, Our static 5 (1 DM + 4 Players) people group is currently looking for an additional player to join us in our adventures. The DM currently running the campaign has also years of experience and is tremendous in the amount of details and extensive story line they offer. The campaign is West-March Style in the sense that it is a sandbox world. Players choose where to go and what to do. This means you CAN, as a low-level character, stumble upon an Adult Dragon and choose to fight it even though the party will likely be decimated based on character level alone. This campaign is different from the traditional West-March style in the sense that the players nor the DM change, in the sense that it is the same static people that you are constantly playing with as you explore the world. Simply put, it is a huge world, of which you can stumble upon almost anything, and it is your decision wether to fight or flee. And TPK, if the party is not wise, is more than a possibility. That said, the campaign has an even amount of RP/Combat (although more weighted on the combat side). It can be considered as a "mid magic" campaign, with a decent arbitrary amount of magic items to be found. The leveling system is not the traditional EXP based, and a milestone system is used at the DM's discretion for level ups. Homebrew classes are allowed and of course, they will be individually tuned for balance. Lastly in terms of times, we play around EST timezone usually after 5 PM. The campaign is expected to be a long campaign. We also do do long sessions (Typically around 6-7 hours) and typically start on a given day at around 5:00-5:30 PM EST. In terms of exact days, we usually session whenever all the players are available. We aim for at least one session a week, but have definitely done multiple sessions per week.
