Debont Mountain Introductory One Shot For New Players

Saturday September 08 11:35PM EST  A seemingly cooky old Dwarf named Tulin has requested that you take a caravan up the top of the Tulin mountain, which is notorious for the dangerous beasts on it, such as giants and harpys, but he wants you take this caravan to the top. Hello! I go by Abstract on the internet and want to take this opportunity to run this one shot to help people learn about the D&D 5e. I'll provide help making your characters, and if you want I can put in a premade character/make one for you. Since I'm a new DM we're just going to use Player's Handbook Material for characters and we're going to be at level 1. Since it's easier for me I also want to use Discord for voice chat. This one shot should take about two and a half hours at the most.

Ah totally missed that in your first post. I don't think I can do that time-but if you end up doing something tomorrow or ever DM another one off, let me know!

I am interesting into joining. I could bring my friend along, who is also a new player, to join too if that's alright?

I am a complete newbie and I would like to join too if it isn't too late. I have a character made, and a backstory for him already. I have stats too, but i can re-roll those if needed.
